Neopets Section

Hi,

It would be nice to see a section under trading just for Neopets. Right now it's all grouped under Other MMO's and would be a lot easier to find who is selling and what they are selling if we could have a section dedicated for that. I know there is the search feature but right now it's not working so to even run a search it goes through Google. Seems like it would just be easier to have a section for it.

I personally don't believe Neopets has that big of a market to have its own section.

 

No need for it's own section it's a dying game, I had a account about 15 years ago and they deleted it. So BS.

Neopets is more than just a dying game. Many times I've done some neopets MM's where one party has backed out and the others never collected their items from me, they've just disappeared from sythe. It's a bit strange tbh, the only neopets trades are like pets/potions which sell for decent cash, yet I've not found another member who MM's neopets trades.

 

I personally don't think it's that dead.. If you went onto neopets boards and checked out the avatar section t peak time, threads have the tendency to reach over 400 posts in 30-45 minutes?
But I don't believe t should have it's own section in the marketplace, because the only people who play it, would be 10-13 year olds with no money. (Lol)

I do think it's dying. It's old, and I played it when I was young for the fun of it, and some games were kinda fun. But isn't that the truth for ages around 10.

Well what is sythes target demographic. Target age here is 13-17 honestly. I'm 26 and been here since 08 and 95% of people on here are under 18.

 

Neopets has increased in popularity by around 2-3k members Daily, since the release of the new battledome, which is a sign of growth not decay.

 

^ If those numbers are correct then maybe it should have it's own section. Everyone is claiming it is to dead. Look at pokemon mmo it has/had it's own section and it is dead. Why not replace it with that.

 

2-3k people per day registering seems minimal. Not enough interest here IMO.

 

But DJ that is more then the pokemmo and that got it's own section so why not try it?

 

Replace pokemmo with neopets imo.

Why does it matter if it is discussion versus market? If it has a chance to bring activity why not take the risk? Pokemmo is doing nothing.

 

Yes this is true. I personally have never heard of the game, if it's not that big then don't waste site bandwidth on the forums just to make a category that will hit 1-2 posts a day, or even a week. My opinion.

 

For me personally I am 32 and still play along with sell UC pets and the items that cost real money. From Sythe alone in the last 2 weeks have sold over $100 in pets and I am just a small time person. There are others that have sold a lot more than me and I do think that it would be beneficial for the marketplace to have a specific section instead of neopets items getting all mixed in other.

 

Is this real life.....? NeoPets? In 2013? Am I hearing this right?

Nonetheless, if there's demand for it, maybe the section should be added. I'm not sure there is enough demand though, and I sure as hell hope there isn't.
