Third age is not rare compared to 2007 in it's actual time. Jagex beefed up drop rates of everything, including clue scroll rewards.

 

neither did he say that they were a moneysink in EOC, what hes saying is if they put out a vendor that sold them for 500Mill++ or huge amounto f cash, and then removed it after a while. it would remove alot of gold from the game... -.- so yes, this is very dissapointing when you have the chance of removing tons of gold from the game, with almost no effort, and they decide not to do it..

 

The latest poll is god awful. And its confirmed: the "rares" will be done time and time again. GF 07 rares.

what exactly did you guys expect to happen? rares will never be worth a dime, even if they discontinued them.. since we know that they are already rares, people will hoard.. i dont understand what you guys expected to happen, come back in a few years and make a few thousand dollars? lol, nice try.

 

It would have been way better to have 500 or so released via level 3 clue scrolls.
