What brand is the monitor?

Do dislike how thick the bezel is, even if it's a single monitor setup

Nice. How much was the monitor if you don't mind me asking? Thinking of getting a high res monitor soon.

And looking at your original build, not sure if you've updated since or not, but what sort of performance were you getting from the 670? Decent FPS at high on modern games?

 

Paid $400. Got a Auria from Microcenter. I'm also not using a 670 I guess I never updated the front page I'm running a 680 SLI right now. Not so sure bout the single 670 but when I had the single 680 it was running everything max at 1080 at around 60FPS.

 

Build a new PC for myself so I could have something decent at my mom's

i7 4670K with a H100i
ASUS Z87-PRO
GTX 760
HX650 PSU
WD Caviar Black 1TB

all in a Corsair C70 (was a pleasure building in this case!)

 

Could work on your cable management yo, and why didn't you get a monitor with 1600 horizontal?

 

I know I'm really terrible at it :/ and the monitor was a Korean import so it was only $400 or so, 2440x1600 are a fair bit more expensive

 

Woohoo, updates!

Got a new case and a new CPU cooler. Next upgrades will be two new graphics cards and a new PSU and sleeve the cables.

If you have any good suggestions for upgrades send them my way my budget is pretty big.

 

Looks like a nice build trippin, definitely digging the lotion blatantly sitting on your desk as well xD

It's fine. Would rather get a high end air cooler like a NH-U14S than a closed loop in the future. Don't love corsair link, I find it pretty loud for my liking, and doesn't cool any better than a nice air cooler.

Thanks, I've been battling back and forth figuring out what I'm going to do with my newest build for a while. I've used air coolers in the past but I was thinking about going the corsair route. I'll probably just take your experience into account and go air.

 

Yeah not worth the hassle for no benefit. Air coolers look better in my opinion anyways.
