NEVER Sell your account to gold4fun or playkiller

I sold my account over there 2 weeks ago from today. Came back today to go get my $99 and say thanks. Instead, this all happens. I know it's a lot of links, but it's worth your look if you plan on doing something over there.

So many people always complain about these sites, I think it should be common knowledge by now to never sell accounts to these people. Anyways sorry to hear.

 

Account selling/buying is a shit business, almost every party loses because accounts can always be recovered by the original owner

 

Yeah I actually bought about 120$ worth of gold back in like 08 from them and it said they'd take about 30 days to complete the transaction because you couldn't trade over cash in a trade back then, and on around the 27th day they got my account permanently banned and never refunded my payment after hours of me trying to get my account or payment back. Was the worst feeling ever.. You spend $120 to not only not receive your payment but get your account permanently banned in the process.

 

You will always have a bad experience when dealing with those sites, no matter what you're trying to sell/buy. The language barrier alone, creates such a difficult and bad experience. They claim they will give refunds, but they never will. Terrible site to deal with, and I'd highly recommend never dealing with them in the future. Sucks to hear what happened, but what can you do? Don't deal with them.

Yea its risky as hell to sell to Gold4fun, but I sold around 13 accounts to them in 2011 and never had problems with them. Then they emailed me around 4 months after i sold the last account to them, and said it was hacked and were threatening me with a chargeback. Recovered it back for them and it hasn't been logged into since I sold it to them. 2 months later they are emailing me again with the same bs, luckily I recovered it again and told them never to email me again. They will always find a way to try to take money from you.

 

Holy hell. Thought you couldn't chargeback after 60 days though?

 

No actually a chargeback can even occur after 2 years believe it or not. If they payed with a credit card they can ask the bank to issue the chargeback. Thats why i hate paypal because its so unsafe.

 

Gold4Fun again, tbh I always saw discussion regarding gold4fun being a scammer, but I haven't heard of playkiller. And yet still its about account selling, I would never thought of account selling/buying to be safe. It is much more risky than buying gold. But then If I were you I would sell an account in a safe trading platform.

You're always better off doing transactions on Sythe - there's fewer barriers to trade, more interaction between the parties, and just an overall better experience.

I would say to use players auction over sythe, its alot safer... and no worries man i ripped off gold4fun for you...your thread made me pissed about them

 

That sucks. I've dealed with such sites before and they're all the same. Scamming, lying, dishonest charlatans.

Yeah I think by now, it's safe to say almost NO "website" is trustworthy. I NEVER buy gold from sites because no matter what their reputation is, I know that nearly 99.9% of them are just Chinese gold farmers who could care less whether or not you get scammed. I mean it's not like Sythe where you can put a scam report and get them banned or anything. I think you're better off sticking to other members on Sythe than you ever will be with even the most "trusted" gold/account selling websites.

 

Well, sythe isn't that great either. A lot of the newcomer scammers are annoying. I find it hard to find LEGIT offers on here. But at least I'm not getting scammed by those Chinese idiots.

I must say that I will still use sythe together with player auctions since majority of the users here are using it. I havent use gold4fun but good thing that I saw a lot of discussions regarding their services. It was a heads up for me.
