Will RS 07 Die?

I've been reading around and some people are speculating that 07 RS will die in about 10 months - 1 year...

What do you think? Is it worth putting so much effort?

 

It wont ever really "die". But you can expect the number of active players to slowly decrease over time. Maybe in about 5 years or so, OS RS will become another RS classic.

 

That is one of the reasons why I am not focusing alot on 07 RS, cause I know in the end it will fade away just like rs classic did.

Everyone has their own opinion, I personally think it will only advance in numbers from now on.. Although, with that being said, only we as players know what 07 was like, most kids who are starting to play runescape will only get a feel for EOC, and adapt to that..

People are quitting 07, but also new players start.
Imo it won't die, there lots of people playing 07 because they hate EOC and want the old 07 times.

 

Nope. If anything is going to die it is EOC way before 07.

I don't think it will die out but that's just me, I love 2007 and I am sure loads of other people do too. Long live 2007 rs!!!

After they add the extra fee, it will decrease vastly in the amount of players it has. Not too many people want to pay $13 a month for a game like Runescape. There will be a select few that will. They want you to build your account up while it's normal membership fee, so when they tack on the extra $5, you have no choice but to pay it if you want to continue your hard work.

Sorry, but runescape is not worth $13

They're going to have to add in stuff like God Wars sooner or later to keep people around. I understand everyone wants no updates but let's be real, what happens to a game that doesn't add in new content eventually?

At the moment I think the game is flourishing, the clanning community is the best it's been in a long time and there are many, many Pkers.

Also I'd like to note that the edge spastics who pray and teleport should reconsider their life, edge and all the retards in it are cancer.
