Making a Toothpick Disappear!

I saw this on Mindfreak and thought it was cool, so I'mma write a tut on how to do it here.

First, bend your thumb forward so it's behind your index finger. If you put a toothpick in between your index finger and thumb, it would be facing upwards, so tape a toothpick to your thumb so it's facing that way.

MAKE SURE THE TAPE IS NOT ABLE TO BE SEEN FROM IN FRONT OF YOUR INDEX FINGER!

So, now, pull the toothpick out. There will now be a little slot in the tape.

After this, go and look in the mirror. Check out how sexy you are with that toothpick in your mouth. Now take it out of your mouth, put it in the slot casually, tell yourself you can do something hawt, and snap while pulling your thumb back quickly.

This will look like the toothpick has disappeared, while it's only behind your thumb, taped on! Rub your thumb with your index finger to show off, and make sure it looks real.

If you want to bring the toothpick back from the abyss(AKA the back of your thumb), bring it forward to its original position behind your index finger, and pull it out. If you want to show your hand, pull the tape with it, and attach it to your pants. This way, you can show there's nothing wrong with your hands, and there's nothing up your sleeve.

PRACTICE THIS A FEW TIMES BEFORE YOU SHOW MOMMY AND DADDY YOUR SECKSY TRICKZ!

Guys, never reveal your secret. Very few people will know about this trick, and tell the ones who do to stfu or you'll stab the toothpick into their eye.

So, if you have any questions, ask away. If you ask me, this gives a pretty cool effect. You just have to practice a few times before you can show anyone.

cheap parlor trick! my brother in law and I are payed professional magicians (dont laugh) and we do table hopping magic for restaurants in the neighborhood.

pictures help A TON for learning magic, reading books took me forever to understand. but now I can make a card hover like a UFO and then return to my hand! Also when I hand out my business card it is on fire.... large flames with flash juice. Its cool too cuz the card doesnt burn.... You gave me an idea for a post in user ed =D.
