Has anyone ever kept an aquarium of fish?

    I have a Red-tailed, Black Shark

    They're semi-aggressive and territorial.
Recently he went on a murder spree and killed several of my fish xD
Any ideas what I can keep with him?

I have a 60 litre tank and a few "Buenos Aires" tetras in with him.

Someone suggested Tiger Barbs, because they're also semi-aggressive and will 'stick up for themselves' as it were.

Any suggestions? Post a pic too so I know what you're talking about :p

Lol, as far as fish go all I had was 2 Gold Fish named Spongebob and Patrick ;l LMAO Spongebob has a retarded fin and swam sideways and Patrick kind of just chilled half dead. Year later they was down the toilet dead RIP. Put a Parana in there to show that fish who's boss.

I have a ~250 gallon tank or so might be bigger.

Not a giant fish expert , but you need more aggressive fish near or around the same size of that red-tail.
Also make sure you have a lot of decorations / etc so the fish can hide if need be.

Do some research but consider cichlids they're very beautiful fish that require some research but most are aggressive/large enough to live with red-tailed shark.

take a clear plastic sheet, or even glass and split the tank in half, about the only way if you plan to use the same tank for multiple fish.

Half the tank would be 30 liters, which would cramp the other fish that are in there, and any less than that would be too small for the shark. It's already murdered one of the new ones, so if I don't find him a new home tonight I'm afraid it's the U-bend for him :p

I had 2 red tail black sharks, I still have one but i kept them with 2 other sharks, they were probably 5 times the size of the red tails, also 2 sucker fish and some angel fish and never had any serious aggression problems.

Glad you found them a comfortable environment :)
