i agree tat there should be more pp taking the donations.its pretty inefficient nw,i know pp might be bz IRL or something but its better to have at least 2-3 active ones ard to better handle the donation process . i had spent quite some time trying to make a donation. Probably some others r still struggling to donate.

Not really sure hw does it works at the back-end, but why nt consider accepting other gaming currencies instead of just RS Gold.

Also, as long as the rates offered is nt too far off from the black market rates den it should be fine.

 

I'm going to try and stay out of this, but I'll throw my 2 cents in:

It's called supply and demand--basic economics. There are obviously fewer bond holders, and more people wanting to donate these days with Diego being busy with University, and Grave doing whatever it is that's he's doing. This is why Elena can charge whatever she wants. There's no rule that says she has to sell for X amount. If people don't like her rates, learn to be patient and look for someone else, or wait for TBT/Grave to came back. Also, if more people applied to take donations (if that is even how you become a bond holder), then of course her prices will lower. Although I don't buy that she's doing it solely for the community, it is a service (she takes time out of her own life), to do this and somewhat of a business. I'm not taking anyone's side on this... Oh, and what happened to le vanilla milkshake brings all le boys to tha yard?? -.-

 

Pretty much bond holders can choose to charge whatever they want as they're taking their own time to do this. If you don't like this, then don't use them, only donate $5 through them and do the rest via PP

 

For the record, we can't appoint/force people to be bond-holders. When people volunteer their time to handle donations through a bond, you should expect them to profiting from it. Most of the time this is a nominal cost for their time. If you're unhappy with this, you can do what IDB said-donate $5 through a bond-holder and the rest on paypal

 

No one is asking anyone to FORCE anything. There are plenty of viable volunteers like myself who are willing to become bond holders FOR THE COMMUNITY.

Sure, everyone seems to understand the holders need to be compensated for their time. That compensation should not be so high that by itself, if donated, it would acquire a rank. For example, on a $25 donation, if the fee is $10, that $10 donation in and of itself is a rank. Plus that's not even the issue, that $10 COULD be Sythe's rather than the holder who is simply in it FOR HIMSELF.

Again, this is becoming too much about specific holders and not about the bigger picture. Like I said, I don't care what PERSON X charges, because I can refrain from using them. The problem is STILL being able to donate, and via other avenues, because the other avenues are RARELY available, or not available at all.

Problem is that matthew still didnt add me to pa and paypal because he rarely responds or is online

 

That is exactly my problem as well. Nonetheless I've contacted you about my personal donation, but this is far from a personal issue. If you go look at the threads of all the bond holders, you'll see 10's of people have wanted to donate but have not been able just in the recent weeks. THAT is a loss for the community, not losing bond holders because they can't make enough profit off the goodwill of others.

 

You are making this way to personal, Also, for one you can stop referring to everyone as a guy, as everyone here is not a male. Second is, since I have been here people's prices have been "under" market value because the fact of having to resale. No one has said anything now because your unhappy you decide to cause a big stink about it. Our prices change depending on the market and if you think that no one is making a profit off of moving the donations you are sadly mistaking last time I checked TBT was processing at .2 and Dave was at like .21 or something close to that. That is still under market per say and yet no one is freaking out about that.

Their's are still there but they don't respond to it ever. So it is basically me processing all of the RSGP donations

 

You're taking it personal, I don't care what you charge, you're free to do whatever. Stop acting like people have to use you at your prices, we can choose not to, and we can choose to complain about it. I defended you and told people to stop arguing because this isn't about you, so stop making it about you. Every time you post you make it about you. We get it, you have troubles re-selling, then find a different method to accept donations rather than pass off your trouble to others.

The issue is lack of active bond holders and lack of varying payment methods, not whether your prices are right. It seems that almost everyone unanimously agrees that these issues exist, including yourself.

Hey, anyone can go and open a bond, after all bond holders prepay it.

I'm sorry I haven't been active, I'm no longer a school student as I was when I joined and had time to MM 20 trades per day etc. I have to go to uni now and I'm doing double major.

And yes, I know I have 30 PMs sitting in my inbox, but there's not much I can do, my studies go first.

Elena: if you have no contributions rather than fighting, just leave the topic , take it as a friend.

 

Personally I do not expect somebody to do a service for me for free. I don't see why you guys think that these people should be spending their free time providing you a SERVICE for free. If I was spending hours of my day keeping track of money, donations, etc I sure as hell would be taking some kind of share.
