Obby Tank?

Thinking of making a pure, but don't want to go with the standard 60att high str kind of thing.. So stats I would go for would be:

1-10 att
80+str
Def is optional, might quest like a zerker or just go 70 for barrows..
31-52 prayer
High mage as long as it doesn't affect my combat level..
55 Slayer for slayer staff ect..

Do ya'll think this would work? Any suggestions would help me, as i've never made a 1 attack pure.

 

Pures won't fight you if you have defence and you won't hit anything on anyone with defence so what's the point?

 

Obby tanks are very unique build, But i wouldn't invest the time making one of these nowdays, back when summoning was around that was some of the most fun i had pking on my friends summoning obby tank account.

 

Making a unique account is worth it imo.

 

Pures actually like to fight obby pures because they are the only people their level who risk, and he would still hit. Obby pures are actually a really strong build, especially if you could get your hands on a dfs and use the spec.

 

If your mind is set on getting def i wouldnt get above 40-45 until your str is above 90

 

Don't do def, keep attack 1, and train slayer while doing it! goodluck
