Okay just an update to let everyone know:

He seems pretty cool - we agreed increments of 65/35%, but the PP must specifically be made as a "family and friends". We went through 4 payments/refunds so he was happy.

Then he was on the phone to Apple for 30 mins or so, sorting the delivery out.

Then he was going to forward me an e-mail with the tracking information I assume, he said this usually takes 30mins to an hour tops. But I've had no e-mail.

We started the transaction around 7pm, and it's now nearly 11pm. He's just told me that they probably don't process orders 24/7 hence the lack of an e-mail - which is fair enough.

The process should really take 20mins or something?

I'll update here when I get this e-mail.

UPDATE: Just spoke to him, 15 hours after I should of received this e-mail. He's in a meeting on his phone. To quote:
