I was scammed.

You guys really need to get your anti-scam measures improved. I lost a level 30 LoL account to some idiot on this forum, and I am very unhappy. I understand he risks involved, and I know that you ban scammers, but that doesn't get my account back and it doesn't stop him from still scamming people with other accounts. I am extremely dissatisfied.

 

Well, I would recommend the use of a middleman if you were to use one then you wouldn't have been scammed.

 

You honestly can't blame anyone but yourself for being scammed, as you said; and I quote: " I understand he risks involved"

You knew the risks when trading, no matter what website/forum you used, there is always that risk.
I'm sorry to hear you were scammed, it's an unfortunate event and I understand what it's like, as I myself have been scammed for a greater amount of $200. I knew the risks, I took responsibility.

I would double-check with the higher-ups before you did this, but it is fairly easy to recover a LoL account. You need to contact Riot, and if your still on the orginal IP the account was made from it isn't that hard to get your account recovered. And if for some odd reason you didn't give him the email to the account it's 100x easier to recover the account.

Like I said, talk to a higher-up before you do this, as I am not sure if it's allowed. Pretty sure it's though.

I was scammed also because I didn't take these precautions so I feel your pain brother. I hope you can get your account back.

 

Next time you trade message me and I will mm for you. Also, always request pm's

 

1) Stop bitching, we ALL get scammed at one point or another

2) It's your OWN fault you got scammed and failed to read stickies and use a MM

3) You can report the user in question yourself and "stop him from scamming people with other accounts"

 

First time i lost over €300 euro's from a chargeback. Everybody faced a scam and we gotta face it. Aslong you read the rules and don't give 1st to the people you don't deem enough trust, there are serveral of middleman you can use.

I was pissed of, but i can't blame sythe for this. It was my own fault. If they would give it back, people would take advantage. Becarefull next time, you wll face scammers. Aslong you find trusted users or use middleman, there's nothing to worry about.

 

dont be a moron, use a mm and dont accept paypal from shady people and you wont get scammed.

it's not that hard, what more do you want this website to do? have a moderator hold your hand while you trade?

 

I understand how you feel systolic.

But getting scammed for me is like a lesson to make you much more wiser in the next trade. Take this as a lesson and apply it to your future trades. Just learn from this.

We have tons and tons of material on the site with the sole purpose of preventing things like this. You're supposed to read it.

 

If you want us to do something you should post a scam report with any proof.

Now protect yourself using a middleman. How bout you try recovering your account. If it was yours you could try that.
