Remove Path of Exile forum from Other Games

It hasn't received as much attention as one would've wanted, that's probably due to official Path of Exile forums being more than enough to discuss many of the things about the game.

People don't really post there much and that's probably because of the low feedback to the threads there.

The only way I see that this forum could be revived is to make a playing group of sythe members who play PoE and then post stuff there, otherwise, I suggest to delete that sub-forum as it has no purpose at this moment, maybe when the full game will come to the day light, it will get more attention and you can reopen it for a second chance.

 

No support there are other sections we should be removing first, and if your saying it may have a second chance then we shouldn't be wasting the time to remove it. There are more sections that are currently more un active then this one. We should be replacing those first.

Well I'm not that much of an active forum user, but PoE is one in my main interest groups, thereafter seeing its activity makes me think about if it's needed at all.

If not remove it, then move it to the http://www.sythe.org/other-games-discussions/

Compared to both LoL and PokeMMO this one is just asking for action.

 

It's still beta, I imagine that once 1.0 is released they'll start advertising it and the player base will grow.

 

We should add more sections imo, not remove them.

 

The player base is quite big atm, I doubt it would get bigger by huge amount, but the reason why the forum is not active enough is that the official PoE forums are really somewhat more than enough to say anything you want and get feedback on it.

The only thing you can do here what you can't do on official PoE forums is that you can use black market here. All else is pretty much covered by official PoE forums.

Other game forums succeed in this forum, because the official forums are highly censured, but PoE forums aren't like that. They aren't really censured, and they let you express most of the stuff you want to say. Suggestions, skill builds, stuff you do on PoE and so on.

I don't see a need for anyone to actually post anything on Sythe, since it's just covered by official forums. I guess if it would get more activity, by artificially stimulating it, then it might get some attention and be worth to keep, but since I don't know who'd be up for this kind of job, I would suggest to probably move them.

From the feedback here I see that you want to keep any forums that might attract numbers, thereafter just move it to the right place.

 

What I don't understand about Path of Exile is that we need to concentrate on the market, as it's got an outstanding activity on PlayerAuctions

 

Well Sythe hasn't advertised itself as much as a PoE black market, thereafter I think it will be a little bit time consuming for everyone to get here. PA has been there a while covering most of the game markets, thereafter if you want to buy something you go to PA, you want to sell something, you go to PA. Simple.

I've also tried selling some PoE shit on Sythe, basically I haven't gotten any response to buy anything, unless the prices offered were absurd.
