Is it 'wrong' for a man to hit a woman?

I have been trained to fight through over a decade of martial arts, but you are also taught equally not to fight. It's better to not get in a fight in the first place.
I've seen some gruesome fights in my life, some of the most gruesome being fights between women.

I'd only ever engage in a fight with a man if I had to. The same with a women. I'd probably self consciously be less likely to hit a woman though.

Anyway.. Like I said. It's wrong to hit either gender. Although I do think it's very unfair that some women do hit men and get away with it.

Of course don't just sit there and take it, whenever my girlfriend pulls some crap like that I just wrestle her to the ground and sit on top of her and make fun of her until she has had enough. She doesn't get physical hurt and she leaves me alone. Win-Win. Subduing a girl is almost never frowned upon, and shouldn't be.

I agree but there is nothing we can do if she gets hurt then. I mean I've been hit and had to hold her back from me.

The ONLY time you deserve to hit a woman if she's hit you first or is doing something to physically hurt you. You shouldn't be allowed to hit a woman if you're in an argument or she's broken something of yours that just seems wrong in my eyes.

 

The size of some of the women these days, I've been punched of a few women on a night out for no reason.
My brothers been bottled of a women.
They're big enough to take it, they're big enough to take it.

I'd never hit a women because she "Annoyed" me.

But I agree, if a women starts getting violent towards you, hit her back, don't beat the shit out of her, one punch should change her attitutde enough.

theres a double standard in this situation, and i dont think its wrong. If a women can dish it out she sure as hell should be able to take it too

 

imo hitting women in general because they are the weaker race ( physical ) is sad.

 

Personally, it depends on the circumstances. If she is physically trying to hit a man, the man could (in most situations) easily over-power her, and just grab her arms or something. But if she is straight up doing something over the line, like threatening family or something of that sort, then yes. I'd say that's perfectly okay.

 

A man shouldn't be able to hit a woman for the obvious reasons.

But if a woman is attacking a man, the man should be able to detain the woman. But not 'hit' her.

 

First off Women and Men are not races they are genders. Secondly, No one should be attacking or hitting anyone. Violence really doesn't solve anything.

I don't believe that anybody should be hit unless there is a legitimate reason.

If I was getting attacked for any reason then yes I would hit them simply in self defence. But I would only do this if they attacked me first, never the other way round.

 

No an eye for an eye doesn't leave the world blind it still leaves one guy left with one eye, all he has to do is stay away from the rest of the blind people trying to get at his eye. If you lose your last eye to a blind person you deserve to lose it.
