Perm Mute for "Hijacking Suspected"

I just logged onto an account I havnt played on for quite a while, found out Ive been permanently muted manually by a JMod for "Hijacking Suspected" and thats all that comes up in evidence.

What the fuck is that, and what cased it. Like I said, I havnt played this account and when I did it was rarely. I tried appealing as I thought the last logged in IP looked weird, but its been denied for god knows why.

 

Was someone else using the account? It may be possible that the account was phished and the hacker used it to spam "100b giveaway searc ### on youtube!" and gotten it muted.

 

What he said, If anyone else had access to the account then this is what has caused it, If not idk

 

Just contact Jagex and ask them about it.
Tell them you haven't been on and years, and say that if you change your PW if they can unmute you.

 

I appealed and mentioned the weird IP last logged in. They can clearly seen Im appealing from the same IP (Or at least even country!) that the account was made so I dont know why they would deny it.
