Botwatch in 07

Well.. It seems they've implemented botwatch into 07 now. It's been real guys.

Dozens of people bottings numerous different skills all woke up to find their accounts banned this morning. Have you guys had any bans within the past 24 hours?

I apologize for both mishaps. Does that mean Botwatch has been implemented for a while then?

 

No need to fear, Jagex sucks at detecting bots..

 

Do not mistake their failure in EOC for a weak attempt by Jagex to eradicate bots on 07. Their grip on bots in the 07 server have been pretty successful thus far, targeting mainly the Goldfarmers.

Hi-scores are being cleaned too. They really mean business this time and at the end of the day; bot at your own risk.

 

I was actually wondering this myself. Two of my guys got banned at the same time at sodoku, which I figured I just got fucked by a mod or something(during bot busting week) but then my friend got banned a few minutes into his run and he was watching it. SO I half wondered if they implemented software to be able to detect if you were botting, which wouldn't really be that difficult when it comes to sodoku.

Anyways I'd call that place a definite NO GO until further notice. 3 guys I know got 21 day'd over there.

on a side note tho, been running fight caves for 3 days straight, nothing on there. So wonder if bans are related to certain bot scripts, IE: sodoku

 

sodoku is and always has been almost a guaranteed ban

 

Jagex's main focus now are Gold-farmers and so, any known method which is heavily botted for Gold will be targeted by Jagex first. They will slowly go to the individual botters who bots for training their account. That includes the fight caves.

Goldfarmers first, then indivdual [Less Harmful] botters who bot for levels.

I was just sayin that looks like they are actually banning for sodoku now and seems like fight caves is safe for the meantime.

 

Didn't say it's not profitable, just the sort of script you make throwaway accounts for

 

Any word on whether or not accounts are getting wiped after temp bans?

Anyway, the bans they are doing at the moment are all manual. They started out banning flax + woodcutters heavily, moved to runecrafting bots, now they are hitting hunters.

I got banned on 4 hunter bots yesterday and hour and a half after I got the level to hunt red chins.

 

I have 6 accounts all fishing lobsters for the past month and they still arn't banned. Yay!!
