Only if the tank is the kind of moron who uses a Zammy book and archer helm. In 1v1, give a tank black dhide with a torags helm and dragonfire shield, rune crossbow and dragon bolts (e), the zerker won't stand a chance

Voted for zerker also, It's the best option in my opinion, tanks are boring but easier to train ;p

 

Why not both mixed in one?

 

I personally prefer zerkers, but I'm pretty sure that tanks are better on paper. It's all about your technique at the end of the day, depending on what method you use you can beat a maxed tank with a maxed zerker or visa versa.

Id like to make a tank account but too much time input.

 

I am currently working on/pking with my first range tank in Runescape. It is very fun, I am currently level 78 with 60 defense, and I wreck zerkers 10:1. They hardly get a chance to hit me since they are constantly having to eat because of my D bolts.

The only thing that bugs me is range pures seem to have no problem hitting through my defense (they are 95-99 range at this point), and the Dbow specs from them easily KO me.
