Nothing happens. Public awareness wasn't raised quickly enough and issues drowned this out. Odd timing with the Boston.... oh nevermind.

There goes more privacy, simply put. Rights are slowly going out the window. Where have you been? The entire second fucking amendment is disappearing right in front of us. What type of government did you think the United States was, anyway?

Does that mean the US can see what we do here in the UK too?

Yes, even as a UK citizen your data can still be given to the U.S government should a company volunteer to do so.

So what? The House passed CISPA in April 2012, but it never made it through the Senate. Also, the White House threatened a veto back then, too, so it died...

Don't believe everything you read. I don't know how much credibility you can give the guy when he posted a photo shopped picture of the Sandy Hook principle.

None of us really know what happened and probably never will, this whole situation was blown out of proportion and some of the statements do seem fake but there's no way we will know for sure. I personally don't believe they threw pressure cookers out of the window and if that is the real photo I don't think gun fire would shred someone like that.

They took advantage of the situation and passed the bill, I'm pretty sure there would have been large protest against it if everyone wasn't so focused on the two explosions. Also doesn't it still have to go through the senate and the president? I know some of the advisors to the president already recommended the president veto the bill.

    Yep,

Lawmakers in the House voted 288-to-127 Thursday afternoon to accept the bill. Next it will move to the Senate and could then end up on the desk of US President Barack Obama for him to potentially sign the bill into law. Earlier this week, though, senior White House advisers said they would recommend the president veto the bill.

Donna is the new returning principal and she was at the Boston marathon because there was a dedication to the Sandy Hook high school at the marathon. That whole picture is photo shopped and I'm pretty sure Donna wasn't even interviewed for the bombings.

That second photo is just zoomed in from the actual photo.

I can obviously see it's the same photograph. I was under the impression that the picture was placed on screen with a voice behind it, as they do with phone interviews.

Nah that photo didn't appear on television at least from what I know and if it did it was probably a mistake, maybe they interviewed her but I don't think it was a big interview at the time since there's really no stories at all apart from that conspiracy theory on the internet.
