Donations

I've tried, for a week now, to make a donation to Sythe. I've posted on The Black Tux donation thread, I've PMed The Black Tux, and I've still yet to get a request on skype.

It's very difficult to donate on this website, and I think that needs to change. Either replace him with someone who's actually going to check the thread more than once a month, or get a new donation system.

This website could be bringing in a lot more donations, if they didn't make everything so much harder than it needs to be.

 

What method are you trying to donate through? Are there no other members for that paymet option?

People have lives too. Diego is currently busy with University. Don't expect him, or anyone for that matter, to be your man-servant.

 

I never said they didn't have lives, champ. Thanks for the insight, though! Sythe needs donations to grow, and it won't if they're promoting people who are "busy."

That's like a retail store not selling you one of their products, because all of their employees have lives and are too busy.

A few days for a response I can understand. A week and a half? Nope. And where did we all of a sudden get man-servant from? It's his fucking duty, bud. Here's a little tip! Don't accept positions you can't fucking fulfill! LOL!

For one, its not his fucking duty, 'bud'. And 2, how is he not 'fulfilling' his position? He has done plenty for this communty; so don't go all guns blazing at him just because he is AWOL.

I'm sorry to sound harsh, but this is how it is, you are expecting him to be online to YOUR calling; thats not how it works. Bond holders aren't paid to do what they do. It isn't their job. They don't have to be online 24/7 to accept donations, so stop treating bond holders like fucking dirt and answer my fucking god damn question SO WE CAN ACTUALLY HELP YOU BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT WE WANT TO DO. NOT START FLAME WARS WITH YOU.

Great way to repel a new member who wants to support the site, and make him feel left out of the community.

Easier to explain to him that it is all voluntary and there are others who could do it, depending on the payment method. Easier than turning into a keyboard warrior and going all caps on a person who has no idea how things work around here.

Donations are a little off atm, Grave is banned. Not to mention there haven't been as many donations incoming as there once were.

OT: when i go into the donation center I see a few ways to donate, why do u have to use TBT, you could do a dutch bank transfer etc...?

1) OP isnt a newcomer; he joined same time I did. Being a member for over a year he should be well-aware that bond arent employees and do NOT get paid, so his analogy is ridiculous. I'd write more on this, but I'm on iPhone atm.

Wasn't going keyboard warrior on him at all, he regarded bond holders as 'employee's of a retail store' i merely stated they arent paid at all and people cant be on 24/7 to suit other peoples needs.
