Finance a flight ticket? I know it's possible, my mother did it years ago when I went to hawaii with a few friends. I'm going to Reading Festival in Reading UK this summer with jib, but all the websites I find are sketchy and fuck when googling "vacation financing" or "trip financing" or any manner of "flight/travel/ticket" financing

You mean like a book it now, pay later sort of thing? Because I know Orbitz does that.

 

I just went through orbitz' website and there was no option to finance or pay later

 

I've never heard of being able to finance a plane ticket.
I'm from the UK.
Check American Airlines, I'm sure they offer something where you can pay it back in 6 months or something

 

There might be some way you can pay a deposit and then pay the rest later. If not, you could just try and take out an interest free loan?

Mother worked for airlines so I get to stand-by for free! It only lasts while I'm obtaining a degree from a college though.

Shit sucks when flights are packed but it's worth the money saved!

I suggest a personal loan via a credit union, have you looked at those? Far less sketchy than "www.notascamfinanceyourflight.com"

 

I've had a $10k credit union loan before, and wasn't fucked over, so I might go that way. The credit union that I go through is in hoquiam though, 300 miles away from where I now live, so if I don't make it back to town in time, I'll have to find another option.
