I got a serious situation on my hands...

Ok so im 16 and my dad found out i smoke like weed and he found out i even smoked cigarettes before, i don't wanna go into how he found out but he did. What can i do.. he told me i can't go to anymore parties no social events, movies nothing. Like he doesn't have any trust in me like he hates smoking and he just wont talk to me nothing. I know its still my fault and stuff but how can i convince him i don't even do it much.. he thinks im some druggy but im not i smoked maybe once in these last 2 months

 

time is all that'll fix this, he's ur dad and will forgive ya

 

I'm fucking lucky he told me hes not telling my mom, i was bout to try molly and shit next week but now i know my dad found out bout me just smoking im going clean im done everything. Never touching anything now :l

 

I've got a solution for you here. Do good in school, start working out/ playing sports, and maybe even get a job.

Just show him how responsible you are, and he will respect and trust you in no time.

+: Stick to a little MaryJane/Drinking, don't tend to go into any hard drugs, that's just straight up retarded.

 

yeah im already part of sports teams and stuff :/ just gonna be on the d low for a little while till this all passes over i guess..

 

Trust is the huge factor here. My parents used to give me money whenever I asked because they knew I wasn't spending it irresponsibly so you have to earn his trust back by staying clean and improving in your studies to prove you've changed.

 

Time. That's about the only fix for this situation.

 

Your dad will forgive you all kids make mistakes, You are still young. Just do good in school and time will fix the rest.

 

Trust is built over time. Once lost don't expect to get it back right away but it will come assuming you don't mess up in the meantime.

 

Just be good from now on, time will help earn your trust back towards him.

This. Take up lifting or some other hobby that will improve yourself and you'll find enjoyment from.

Like other posters are saying in this thread, only time and you showing that you are in fact trustworthy will fix things with your dad. Don't worry though, it will happen.

 

He will eventually forgive you just give it some time mate.
