Wow Jagex......

This is both sad and hilarious;

On one hand they're getting pretty crazy on the lengths they go to ban people but,

when I saw 'bragging out his botting' in the report I lost my shit.

 

One right click on source code and you can edit anything .. takes like 5s .. and not even funny

 

They actually have hit gold farmers / traders in the past like this, and quite hard in fact.

 

This is a perfect example for why Guideline #2 exists:

Replace XXX with any RS cheating site you want.

It's rare, apparently it does happen.

and to the op did you have your username and or all stats visible ? I haven't seen you around as I am new, but it seems sketchy that jagex would do this it's obviously too late now because you have posted this so they can use it as evidence, but I'm pretty sure unless the above happened you could have just played dumb because they can't see your ip etc. on sythe so other than hear say they wouldn't have proof. I mean hell I could say I am zezima, suomi etc. and brag about it on a maxed out account, doesn't make it true that I am either of them.

my username are on several websites. Including Runescape as my rsn, but i really don't bot like that or give them a reason to. I mostly play legit on 07, other than that im in college/work

That was on reddit, and it probably isnt his account. That is dumb because anybody could make an account with another person's username and brag about botting. Thus, you could get any1 you wanted banned

In all seriousness jagex actually pays people to go around websites like sythe and check if people's usernames match their IGN? Waste of time/resources imo.

@OP: You truly do have the worst luck - I've never seen a J Mod comment on a ban stating they found you on Sythe. That's crazy
