yeah man ping is literally what makes the difference in online gaming. your upload and download dont really mean shit if your ping to the server is ass

Absolutely atrocious internet speeds



I live kind of in the hills and we're currently using shitty at&t dsl. My dad did some research and decided that there wasn't a faster alternative, is he correct? How would I go about looking for a better alternative?

The screenshot above is the speed that I'm getting from my wifi connection from upstairs, its only slightly faster plugged in. I'm seriously lost, what can I do? Should I call someone out to look at it? Should we get a faster/better modem/router?
