Minor macro ban... But i wasn't macroing.

My oldschool rs account was recently locked. I looked up why, and it said i had been accused of two macroing ban reports (a total of a 20 day ban) and i hadn't macroed all day, i sat there painfully and leveled my range along with doing multiple other things that day. I havn't ever macroe'd before... what do i do?

I don't want to wait for 20 days.. i've been playing for 20 days now and if they're going to ban me for something i didn't do then i'm not going to pay them to falsely accuse me and suspend my playtime.

 

It will take them 20 days just to look at your dispute, you pretty much have no choice.

 

i think you can email them at one of their support emails, it would take at least 4 days though.

 

They are falsely banning anyone they deem to fit the bot characteristics

So you have macroed ? They don't ban you off if your botting at that certain period they collect evidence then hit you with.

 

I have never botted a day of my life....

 

Apparently this has been happening to several innocent players.. my guess is that it would be due to some failure in an automatic system. Wait out the duration, then appeal. Although Jagex customer/player support has improved massively in the last year or so, it's still pretty inadequate compared to the industry standard so although it'd be great if this was handled properly the chances are probably 50/50 at best.

 

Either email [email protected] or just wait it out, just don't do repetitive things in the future. Do you talk at all when you play?
