New Account

I quit RS basically after all of the dumb updates, maybe a year or so after the introduction of the GE.

I saw that '07 is back and I'm interested in making a new account, so I did just that. I made a new account, purchased membership, and now am sitting here wondering what direction I should take with this new account.

In my head I was thinking basic whip pure:
70 atk
85 str
1 def
80 range
60 magic
31 prayer

The whole iron with black d'hide look, obby cape, etc.


I'm not particularly sure - I know I'll fill the account stats out and PK but eventually I'll get tired with it and sell it, so basically I'm interested in what the most popular type of account would be?

I hardly ever see 70 attack 1 defence purrs due to the fact that you have to gain more and more attack levels and can't train strength with it. I guess it'd be quite an effective method for pking but is much rather 50/60 attack for gmaul or dscim/dds. Maybe, if you want 70 attack you should consider a zerker pure or an initiate?
