    Trusted tags - thread title

Hey guys, I remember seeing a discussion/suggestion in regards to these thread titles which use the tags [trusted] here is a prime example of one: http://www.sythe.org/runescape-2007...questing-skilling-service-cheap-reliable.html

Why is it, that they're allowed to do so? Really spins me out.. Newcomers proclaiming self trustworthiness with no vouches? That's just manipulative. But then again I guess it's for anyone to decide how the perceive the others trustworthiness.

What's everyone else's thoughts? Has anyone mentioned this as a suggestion, if so what was the outcome and why?

In my humble opinion, the seller/user can claim as much trust as he wants to as long as he doesn't cross the line (claim to be a mod,etc,etc.). At the end of the day its always the responsibility of the consumer to actually figure out how trustworthy he can be labeled.

Trust is subjective, they can call themselves the best in the world, it doesn't mean anyone's going to believe them.

No support, It is the buyers responsibility to check someone's vouches an then gauge a level a trust from speaking with them.

It's been suggested before that people shouldn't be allowed to have it in their thread title. In some way, I agree because there are a lot of stupid people who'd be manipulated by a thread title. But anybody with an ounce of common sense looks at other things to figure out how trustworthy someone is.

Like others have said, trust is based on ones own opinion :)

it is kind of annoying. I trust people less when they put "Trusted" in their title lol.

/shrug just one of those things, i personaly don't use those tags, i let my vouches speak for me, if someone believes that because a 1 pc has trusted in his tag is legit, let him.

It's your job to determine trust value, not a tag.

I totally agree with you here. But it's obvious, when people self proclaim trustworthiness with no vouches - they aren't here for good/legitimate reasons, but I could be wrong. I guess we could end the thread at, it is up to the consumer to decide how much trust they put in the seller.
