Runescape Account Sales

I think we should add an extra sub forum to the account sales. In both the pures and the mains catogories. We should have a sub forum for buying.

I for one have an account I am looking to sale, but I don't really want to post it publicly, it causes so much hastle, you get spammed by many idiots that want to scam you, people that ask you questions for over an hour and then say 'Yeah its not what i'm looking for' ect.

If there was a buying sub forum, people like me could look in there, see someone is looking for an account similar to mine, drop them a PM and then head onwards from there.


Thoughts?

 

I thought people already posted that within that specifi sub forum? What's the difference in looking through there to find a buyer? Never the less, I would support this notion unless anyone else has an objection?

 

Quite a hastle to look through ~100 posts to see one person buying. I think it also deters people from posting buying threads because they are buried in minutes and noone ever really sees them.

While this isn't a bad idea, I think it would just move the problem. Instead of a seller having to deal with scammers/spammers/etc, any potential buyers would have 100s of people pming him.

 

That will happen either way whether or not the post is in the buying section or a selling section. Addmitedly it will get people more posts/PMs but it will make it 10x easier to buy an account. You have to check every person out fully to stop yourself being scammed no matter which section you post in. This will just help buying accounts all round.

 

This is a very good idea, struggle to sell accounts myself with people that seem to think it's a bidding competition when all i'm looking is for a genuine sale.

Buyers will browse selling forums and sellers will browse buying forums and still ask questions and be annoying wherever you go. Either way both will mix, I don't think it's necessary imo.

 

If you want to buy an account and dont want to post a thread there are alot of options.

If you want to sell an account and dont want to post a thread then you have next to none.
