EliteSwitch Backtracked - RuneScape client for the 2007 servers.

Since the release of the 2007 RuneScape servers i've decided to re-create EliteSwitch.
It will never be as good as it used to be, but hopefully it will provide you with a basic client for the Old School servers.

Current Features:

• Highscore lookup
• Server selection
• Notepad

Bugs:

• You have to click on a world twice for it to work.
• Username history listbox seems to be a little buggy.

Oh dear god yes. I loved eliteswitch so much, I need the autotyper and autoclicker built in functionality back. That was the best RS client ever made.

I wonder how many of these guys actually used it back in the day. It sucks that no one has back ups for anything Im actually tempted to pull my old ass Compaq desktop out of the basement and boot it up and see if elite switch is on it lol.. I remember their was such a huge Scar script base in 07. Its really interesting to see everything get re-made again. Im sure all of the old players who used it(myself included) will love you for re making it, and im sure people who havent used it before will love it aswell!

 

Most of the users who posted on this thread have been here for quite some time, my original sythe account was made in 2006, I simply chose to stop using it due to its name made by my 12 year old self. I still have eliteswitch on my desktop. But yes, back OT, eliteswitch was the most superior RS client to date.

 

I think I have an older version somewhere, and ES portable (forgot that existed) is still available on cnet.

EliteSwitch was the best client this game ever had. Wish they'd make a new one.

 

Yer i found some old EliteSwitch sources, but it was made in vb6. I keep getting an error when i tried loading it in Visual Basic. So i remake is in order.

 

Does this mean v4 may actually see development again ? Or are you going to start a fresh?

 

Nah bro, starting from fresh.
It's quite sad, i've forgotten so much about programming haha.

Hopefully have a really basic version out by this weekend.
