Scammed by a reasonable vouched sythe member

First of all I would like to ask how it is possible that someone with good vouches can scam, are they all fake vouches or what's the deal?

Briefly explain the trade: I got a reply on my thraed here on Sythe, where I was selling my 07scape account. He asked me to add his skype (john_smith1113). We agreed on the price of 60$. At first we would go via a MM on his fees but since he had some good vouches I figured I could go first.

How they scammed: After agreeing on the price, he asked for the account info, I gave it and waited for him so he could check the account (big deal I thought). then after a while I started to get impatient a little so asked what was up, he said he was just updating and validating the email, so I waited a little more and asked again what is up. Since then no more reply, password and email changed though. How come this guy has positive vouches? Why is it that you just can't go first anymore?

Please take a look at the people who gave him positive vouches too, they are the ones who caused this loss indirectly (since I usually don't go first)..
