Jagex laying the hammer!

Got banned on one of my mule accounts with 5M + 07GP. Jagex seem to be doing something about RWT, I have never once before been banned for RWT EVER. I countered their accusations with an appeal though, so will update everyone on how it goes then maybe we have a possible way to get out of said bans. Anyone else get the hammer lately?

 

How much 07gp have you been trading over?

 

Well as a matter of a fact, not much on this account. But another account of mine - in which is not banned, I traded much more. I don't know what triggered this.

Jagex is taking RuneScape seriously now, more people have been getting banned from RWT/botting

 

That's cool man, it's only 5M so I consider myself fairly lucky. I whipped up an appeal so I'll update you with the outcome! I hope it doesn't occur with anyone else either.

Yeah I agree. A few people go without being banned at all!

21 days banned but yea trading to + i botted on it for more then 300hours (not in a row ofc)

 

Thanks for letting us all know about this. And I'm sorry for your loss. At least it was only 5mil this time! I think I'm going to start transferring money from my accounts by dueling from now on.

 

Thats lucky on your behalf, 21 days is nothing! Wish mine wasn't permanent, even then apparently they wipe your account?

 

How many days after a trade did you get banned? Just trying to gauge if this is instantaneous or if even months could pass before a ban. A little worried now. I haven't RWT'd in over 2 months though.

 

From my research, within hours.
Edit: But they didn't show evidence, so I don't know for what trade etc.

 

im pretty sure, you wont get unbanned, i really havent seen any accounts get unbanned from RWT but if you do congratz lol and you might want to watch out for your other account i heard they do flag ips when it comes to RWT

 

Yeah, at the moment I am laying low. Not going to trade for a little bit due to the fact they will have my IP flagged. So I'm not sure what I'll do here.

 

Goodluck on this, my friend. I must admit though, JAgex are seeming to ban people without sufficient proof. Its sad to hear people who are actually legitamently playing rs get banned for botting lmao.

 

That's weird though because knock on would I haven't been banned for RWT yet and I have been trading on my current account for a few months now. So maybe I should switch mules not sure.

 

Yep, well to be honest, with your streak just keep going. Because what happened with me was - I ran out of membership on one account so I decided to use my other account, banned within hours.. I'd say >24hrs. Where as on the account prior, I had been RWTing for much longer.

 

Hire someone to be your in game delivery guy or the guy that holds the gp for you.

 

I agree with this, as long as it's maybe someone you can trust?

I'm not a massive GP trader myself although from what I've heard the wilderness/duel arena are the best methods to transfer.
