Who do you think is the best champion and why? Also [NA] Play a Game With Me 4 Fun?

I was wondering who you guys though was the best champion and why?



Also, Im bored and was wondering if anyone was interested in playing some 1v1, Normal draft/blind pick, dominion ect with me.

There is no "best" champion they all have there advantages.

most op are annie, vieger, and the overall best by far is eve!

 

I like Leona, that CC is useful.

 

I can't really have an opinion on this because different champs are good in different situations. For solo queue right now I'd say Twisted Fate (mid AP) and jungle Hecarim/Volibear are the strongest.

 

Nooby question to ask, but my fave champ by far is Lulu.

 

I've personally had great success playing nasus in the jungle. I thoroughly enjoy playing with twisted fate/shen/rumble in solo queue though.

 

Amumu can turn a game in the hands of just about any player with half a brain. That's why he's banned so often, especially in BronzeQ. However, in normal games with non-idiots, he's pretty easy to counter, since he is so vulnerable in his own jungle without a team.

Top: Rumble, Nasus or Nunu
Mid: Twisted Fate or Nid
Jungle: Shaco, Hec, Jax or Nunu
ADC: Twisted fate or Miss Fortune
Support: Nunu or Lulu

 

Looks like you really hate Nunu. Honestly, he's not a very good anything except for support, or a supporting jungle role at best. He can be picked as a counter for Yorick's ghouls, but with only one spell that does damage his ability to put out damage is very small. Best thing he does is buff his ADC, but aside from that he has not much of a good role in a teamfight at all.

 

Nunu was pretty popular for a while as a support, but then they nerfed his Blood Boil. Now there's just better supports for protecting the AD in lane. If he has any place I'd have to say it's in the jungle, but there's junglers that do what he does and better.

 

Nunu is still viable as support. You're right, he's not as good of a defender as Lulu or Taric, but with the right ADC and jungle he fits in extremely well. The utility of his ASP/MSP buff, along with him doing literally the exact opposite as a debuff can really turn a fight, especially in the laning phase. Buff your ADC 45%, debuff their ADC 25%--that's a 70% advantage in your favor for several seconds. Add in flashing behind them, ulting, and the fight is basically guaranteed in your favor unless ganks are involved.

 

My IGN: YouJean. I personally think the best champions are the ones that are the most fun to play. For top lane I like playing rumble/riven/garen. Mid lane would be Leblanc/Ziggs/Syndra. ADC, draven is the only one that I like thats fun. Support: Thresh/Blitz, I heard leona is also fun to play but ive never played her. JUNGLER: Nocturne/Olaf/Rammus. These aren't necessarily to best, but they are the most fun for me so they are the best

 

I think top lane is really viable, his E can do decent damage at low level.
People under estimate his ability though, which is amusing. As a support I think he's good, can poke with E at no cost. Also a quick jungler Imo

 

Annie... Veiger? Both are easy as hell to counter, especially veiger as he relies on his stun or hes a dead cookie.

Imo Jayce is probably the 'strongest', but that's my opinion.

 

It's funny how people are saying "OP" meaning "ability to snowball out of control." My opinion of OP is the champion that either sets up ridiculously broken plays (like Heca's/Zac's/Amumu's/Vi's/etc.'s ultimates) or that has a laning phase that is nearly impossible to counter.

Veigar counter? Play Talon or another AD mid, farm to level 3-4, burst him down hard. Also, if he "counters" your AP pick, just buy Negatron and proceed with game. His burst is high but has really high cooldowns, and by adding a Negatron you basically ensure he will never get a kill in lane. Also, especially if you are Talon, just wait for 6; E to him and use the silence to get a Q + W + R combo and walk away. He'll be sure to return to base every 60 seconds.

Annie counter? Basically the same situation, just Annie has a better stun. Annie also has really good burst, but relatively high cooldowns on it. Both of these champs are easy enough to shut down if you bait their combo, then proceed to combo the hell out of them while they are on CD.

Also, some other "OP" champs that are easy to counter: Tryndamere - just bait his undying rage and pop and ignite on him. Also, shut down his sustain in lane by bullying him away from minions. Akali - buy a pink, proceed to win the lane. Draven - get Leona/Taric or another level 1 CC support and take advantage of his unreliable escape. Vayne - force teamfights at 3:00-7:00 and her lack of early game will really bite her. Nasus - just get a really aggressive, bursty top that won't be influenced by Wither's attack speed debuff. Especially with a manaless champion to match his sustain, get an early kill or two and he will be very far behind. Twisted Fate - bronze/silver just play an assassin mid; for gold+ just ban him . Nidalee - I like playing Heimer versus a nidalee, but you can also just get any champion that's content with standing behind minions.



On the other hand, Yorick counter? As long as the Yorick knows how to ward, there's really no way to "counter" Yorick. He'll make sure you tower stand for the entire laning phase. (For that matter, you can counter Yorick with a pink, but a smart Yorick will realize this setup for a gank and cool down his push.)

Hecarim jungle counter? Well his mobility basically means he'll always get to buffs before you (unless you camp buffs), and his dueling means you will probably be beat out. It's possible to out-skill him, but as far as champion matchups there's not many who can play jungle harder than Heca can.




Provided you have the right warding, it's essentially impossible to lose your lane as Yorick; the only way to gank a smart Yorick is to pink his wards.

 

While I agree with most of what you've said there are champions who are OP just looking at numbers. Certain base values and stats contribute to them being overall stronger champions than others. This is what leads to fotm.

I assume you were addressing each champion that was listed above. In regards to your Nasus suggestion; what you said works in lane but Nasus jungle is currently more popular.

Yorick has fairly easy time going 1v1 against most champions. Unfortunately he naturally pushes due to his W and he has limited mobility. There are 5 different angles to gank top side as. Unless you're committing all of your gold to wards and thus losing lane then its fairly easy to gank a Yorick.

Furthermore, Hecarim is a very strong pick but if you are able to limit his mobility you have a much stronger chance of winning against him. He's mostly banned in solo queue anyways so I suppose we could use your TF Gold+ tactics here :laugh:
