Whip/Dfs vs Verac staking?

Assume you have two of the exact same characters, which would win generally? Whip/dfs character would have torag on.

 

I'll say whip/dfs. Verac's doesn't really boost your accuracy, only a chance to hit through melee prayer.

 

Verac's also has the chance to negate armour, meaning the person's armour would count for nothing on certain hits.

Verac's stakers raped back in the day, although the account with the DFS would have the advantage of the DFS spec =\

 

i love full veracs, id prefer it over whip dfs

The special is a range or mage hit, I can't remember, so if its melee only you can't use it I don't think.

 

This. At one point, before EoC you can use the DFS spec in melee. It was used in shield boxing. So it should work in 07.

It would sort of even it out, still verac would have the advantage.

And to add, you only need 70-40-70, maybe higher str, for verac to be successful. Where as for a whip, probably 70/90/75. You'd be near max by then. Not to mention I remember the old days when I'd go to the Tournaments under the Duel Arena, Verac owned.
