PKing Worlds?

I thought Jagex offered a few worlds that were 'PKing-Worlds' in 2006 or 2007. Meaning that one could PK anywhere in Runescape except if you were in banks/building.

That would be sweet if Jagex offered a world that allowed world pking. Ever think it will happen in OSRS or EoC?

Im sort of OK with the idea, but I'd bet my left nut it would never happen. No way could that get 75% support in a poll.

PKing worlds only existed in 2009.

 

They don't have any backup data on them, so I doubt they would rebuild everything from the scratch.

 

I enjoyed pvp worlds, but I highly doubt they would even consider this for a vote, much less it would get 75%

 

PvP worlds were just rampant with rushers and campers, even more so than the wildy - they were annoying as hell.

 

OSRS is a game highly geared for PKing. Meaning people really only play Old-school because they want to PK. So it might be an interesting idea to make a few worlds completely 'PK-able'. Not only would there be no bots to compete against when gathering resources, it would make gathering resources not as tedious for us legit players.

I remember PKing worlds to be the highlight of Runescape. I wish they would offer some on OSRS.

Even worse though, you'd have the hoards of people that just ran into banks when they were even near low food and just tanked the countdown timer for the remainder of their invent.

If that didn't happen, you were getting tag teamed by multiple people in a group.

I PK'ed a fair bit during the BH worlds/PvP worlds era, and the PvP worlds were unenjoyable after the novelty wore off (which wore off quickly).

It will never happen because of the date that it was implemented also the fact that 75% won't vote on it. The wild is fine the way it is right now I don't really see a reason to change it.

Most of the people that want to change the game weren't around for 07 or before that.

This was not a feature in 07, and should not be a feature now.

 

Pking worlds were pretty fun. Loot sucked though...

I wish they had bounty hunter worlds again. Not like the bounty hunter caves but I liked pking when I was being assigned a target. It was always fun.
