Give me the best reason why oldschool is better than the eoc.

title says it all.

 

Because it is old runescape

 

i prefer oldschool iswell

 

Because we lack ability to adjust to the new conditions.

 

There's too much going on in eoc. A lot of people miss it when older runescape was less confusing and the graphics were more simple. Nostalgic to many players as well, I should add.

 

You wouldn't understand unless you played in 2007

 

EoC basically killed off whatever remnants of the old RS there were. It just isn't as appealing to me as the original RS I played and loved. The only good thing I can say about RS now is that they're coming up with some good story driven quests, everything else has just been money making crap on their part.

 

EOC simply isnt the game i loved to play. I have allways loved how simple everything in runescape was and with all the things they added over the last few years it just got too comlicated. In the end i didnt even bother reading the updates.

Simplicity.

No more turmoil + Ags to hit over 80(800 in eoc).

Pking now depends more on skills, surely a bit of luck to land hits, but it's not one of those times where it could go either way because of the damage your opponent could deal (1 hit with vengeance).

 

back then, everything was being friends, skilling, trading, and not no GE shit...

 

pre eoc > old runescape > eoc

Umm, hitting a 800 was pre-eoc...

 

eoc isnt runescape end of!

 

Combat is broken and unfinished in EoC. All the EoC did was substitute grind combat with grind combat that you have to mash buttons too

 

godswords and shit like that is just broken when it comes to pking

 

best reason: personal preference.

 

BEST REASON: BECAUSE JAGEX PUT IN A COMPLETELY NEW COMBAT SYSTEM WITH A WHOLE 200 PEOPLE SUPPORTING IT AT THE TIME!

Did they put a poll on it like they did for wilderness/free trade? No. They just simply went on to remove the old combat system which we all loved.
