Why should Kevin lose out? Because the person sending him money used fraud to acquire his funds? And I provided evidence of this fraud ($500+ chargeback with Paypal) to Kevin personally immediately?

It's not proven that THAT exact money was fraudulently obtained. Why should he lose out on his profits though so you can be paid back, it's your fault for accepting Paypal from the guy, and also you changed your story when speaking to kevin according to the pics you uploaded, it went from approx 500 to $1000+ when you got angry, when really you've not even shown proof of $500 worth of chargebacks. We all get them occasionally, deal with it. If you can't handle the heat, step away from the furnace.

 

Counter scamming has always been a way to get banned. As a market leader and an ex-moderator, surely you should know that.

The fact that you told Kevin that after you get paid back, he can keep the difference, completely blew my mind. Maybe it's frauded, but it still doesn't belong to Kevin, nor you (the difference).

Of course it belongs to me. Jaime Porras owes me $500+. He paid for gold, he received it, then charged back his payment. He is in debt to me for the full amount of the chargebacks. Read the Sythe rules over again, you got no idea what you're talking about.

The fee I was going to give Kevin would be deducted from the money Jaime owes me. For example, if Kevin had received $140, I would have given him $25 for the trouble, kept $115 myself. That would still count as $140 towards the amount Jaime Porras owes to me.

If he is -$500 with me on fraudulent payments, then until that $500 is repaid, all his payments are being made with fraudulent money. He is scum, he should not be doing business on our site. Just because I accepted his Paypal payment does not mean I just am rolling a dice and hoping for luck. This is real money. Wake up buddy. These aren't pin sales, these are hundreds of dollars.

 

You knew the chance of getting chargebacked when you accepted his PP trade maybe you should get a real job and don't live off hope that others won't scam you. Quit acting like it's not your fault you knew 100% that it could be chargebacked, this isn't kevins fault at all.

You guys are unreal. Charging back = fraud. He received the product he paid for. You're acting as if this guy was entitled to get his money back.

I did my job as a merchant by verifying his identity, calling him, and other things. I was 100% sure he was not using a stolen Paypal. This customer knowingly stole over $400 USD worth of gold from our company.

This is the equivalent of someone robbing your house for $400 then going to your next door neighbour and trying to buy a bike for $140. If we are trying to call ourselves a community, and are actually devoted to stopping scammers, this is a perfect opportunity.
