Multi-Logging bannable offence

I actually didn't know about this before. I really do not see a point in having this rule since i am paying member for both of the characters, Doing fishing on one and pest control on the other. What are the actual chances of getting banned for this?

 

You can't get banned for this, unless you admit you're doing it. I don't see how could they prove you're not using 2 computers.

 

I always thought it was only bannable if they 2 characters were interacting with each other. For example, with me I have 2 member accounts. I buy gp and get it delivered to my noob. When I need the GP i simply get my 2 accounts at the same place and trade. Without people around of course

 

They can log your MAC address through a Java game - that's how RSPS's and games like them ban people's specific computers (as opposed to IP's). Very easy to tell they're played on the same computer.

The core thing is that as long as they don't have a reason to look into your accounts, you aren't going to get caught for multi logging.

 

If you stay low key, like don't phish or anything that breaks the core rules then I doubt it.

 

I don't think you can get banned for duel logging

 

If they don't have reason to look into your account, then you won't be caught for this..

 

your actually allowed to have two accounts as long as they never interact, ie. log into the same world.

 

You're allowed to multi log as long as your accounts don't interact as far as I'm aware

 

Multilogging isn't allowed and it is a bannable offense. I think however its only a temporary ban.

 

Jagex claims Multilogging is not allowed in any form. This is to ensure players don't feel the need to play and pay for like 5 accounts.
However, it has been said many times in the rs forums that you should not log into 2 accounts in the same world (therefore not interacting).
So jagex is kinda dubious, however, as stated above, you are not getting banned for multilogging two accounts.

Never been caught doing this for about 7 years

 

I multi-log EVERYDAY! No ban so far.

 

I think it's just a rule in theory. Banning players who pay up to 2x a month what average customers pay isn't very practical.

 

I was talking with a mod about it yesterday, Apparently the only multi logging that's allowed is if you play 1 on eoc and 1 on rs2007 even if they dont interact or are in same world on rs2007 its still against the rules.

 

Very few people get banned for this.

 

The chances that you get caught for this is very low. Unless, of course you openly declare it which might spark an investigation on your account by Jagex.

 

Most people don't get banned through this. The chances of you getting banned if your accounts don't interact are very slim.
