Need Help Picking My Next Graphics Card

    Current Card: [IMG]

    Current Budget: $100

Wants: Fluid gameplay and to be able to play games like Tomb Raider and others on Recommended settings.

My budget is not huge but if I need to spend over $100 I am ok with that. I just don't really know what I am looking for. It needs to have dual monitor support but that's about it.

    Any help would be awesome!

100 isn't much for a graphics card. it will go outdated and then you will have to buy another one, invest me into it and it will last longer.

The HD7770 is a very good option, it's a low powered graphics card but it has very decent performance. It's even better if you overclock it.

It probably won't be outdated for 4-5 more years. Developers nowadays normally create games for consoles and then port to PC.

    pls dont comment.
if you werent retarded you'd realise 7770 wont last 4-5 years, infact lucky to last 2 imo with the new consoles coming out soon.

The HD 7770 is most likely going to be more powerful than the next gen consoles graphics, of course the consoles have bespoke GPUs, but it should be around the HD7770 - HD 7850 in perf.

Also, Amd will probably support it for another 2 years at least.

afaik the consoles are supposed to be 78**+, but eitherway games won't be optimized for PC's so 7770 won't be enough.

ofc amd will support it, but generally when people say a gpu will be outdated they mean it won't run games very well. lol..

Either way, for a budget of $100 you can't really go wrong with a HD 7770. I think it will cope fine and will be able to run games at med-high settings for another 3 years at least.

My brother has an absolute dinosaur PC that has a 9800gt, and he still runs most new games fine at 1080p with med settings.
