They should be tradable!

 

Idk about this whole rare thing... they wouldn't be original.. but i guess ill find out soon

 

my opinion is if rares are coming like they will they should be tradeable otherwise it's just boring. This comes from someone who had a Red halloween mask as most. Please guys 1% more and we will get it thats really it.

no reason for rares if they aren't trade-able. They lose the value of wanting to wear them..

there's no reason to wear rares at all besides to show off your e-peen -- they dont give any stats. all they do is inflate the economy.

This is an old school server, so our word is the one that matters.

And if you're talking old old school, played that too. Not everyone has to share your opinions. I can see the argument for them being tradeable, but there is also a compelling one for the no side as well. Learn to respect others opinions

 

Some of the rares will be untradable, the ones that are supposed to be. So why to change something that is not broken and make the rest of the rares untradable, when their true purpose is to show the other person's wealth? Also, for most of the people, rares are the goal, the milestone in succeeding in a game. Just like completing a game. Also, staking, pking, don't you just love when people pk/stake with rare items? Most of the people do watch the videos of players doing that. Rares will not crash the economy, they will not bring more gold into the game. Rares will bring more players into the game which will lead into more people buying the gold, so the gold price will increase.
Also, the players who will have lots of gp, will want to exchange the gp into something valuable. Now the most expensive items are: the Third age armour parts, draconic visage and dragon full helm, and their price will decrease with the time. So it is not that much to choose from. THINK about it.

 

How the hell are Partyhats in EoC scape NOT broken? They have completely destroyed the economy in the game and made it near impossible for new players to get it. In the present scope of things, it does not look like adding rares would be a problem, because the game is literally brand new and everyone will have an opportunity to acquire one. However, in the long term they will just destroy the market, unless they are rares that are constantly flowing into the game, if that's the case, and your argument, then that I agree with. But if they were to become discontinued, I would not want them to be tradeable. Just look at the Christmas Tree Hat in EoCscape.. already rising at a ridiculous rate. I guess I'll wait and see how people want it to be distributed, and if they continue to be distributed. If they continue to be distributed, will change my mind and side with you that they should be tradeable. I'm fine with them being ridiculously rare, just not discontinued. They should not make discontinued items come into 07 Scape. Discontinued or not, rares or not, sellers will still be able to make rl money on this game. I want rares back in the game, but not if they're discontinued...I already did that partyhat grind in EoC. I think it's a cool way to give people a chance at rares that never had one in EoC, but I don't agree with them being tradeable if and only if they cut off its production.

 

They should not be constantly brought into the market, that is the purpose of rares. There should be some items in a game that are RARE! These are called rares for a reason. If you want something that you can easily get, grab some chicken meat, it is useful, has lots of protein and isn't rare!

In your lifetime you will see that some items are hard to get because they are worth more than the others. Luxury cars, shares of the major companies, antique items, Gold/Siver, expensive jewellery etc. If everyone would have those, then they would not be worth that much anymore and would become items for everyday use. Some items will always be worth more than the others. Unless you are trying to be a communist and share the same value for every single person. That is economy my friend.

 

Lol I don't disagree with this post, or most of your other ones. But notice I said I do want them to be ridiculously rare, then they'd still be of high value but still a very small chance to get it.
