Staff deleting threads in spam forum.

If your gonna cry about being made fun of, just don't use the spam forum! So easy, this forum is crashing and burning very quickly

 

i don't see what the big deal is, deathsnova has taken more shit on this site the anyone, and he is fine with it.

laptop openly tells people he is gay/bi sexual, so he shouldn't be butthurt for being called a faggot, he even acts like he is gay all the time, i'm not going to go find posts because it's a waste of my time.


The spam forum is for just that spam, and getting rid of stress, staff are now protected, sure that's fine aslong as they don't go start trolling, but calling someone a faggot isn't that bad, from what i've seen there has been no real harrasing hardcore going on for months.




TlR version there has even been admins/mods who said if you don't like whats it spam forum don't go there.

Jesus christ you can't even whip your kids nowadays, stop catering to these hippy free-love generations, hardly any of the shit said in spamforum is taken to heart.

There was no derogatory comments in regards to invocation, only me and a few other users expressing our own honest opinion. Why did that thread get deleted? Seriously, there is no valid explanation.

 

Last I checked, closed and deleted are two different things.

It doesn't matter what YOU think. What matters is what the user being targeted thinks. As far as what you think in regards to what they think, we couldn't care less.

 

This is a public discussion on a topic that i feel im equipped to discuss. My opinion is just as valuable as the next person. Its like saying you cant say you enjoyed a party coz it wasnt urs.

Going to throw my opinion in there.
I feel as if Sythe having a free and public place of expression like that helps with all of the Sythepolitics and other bullshit that goes on around here. Threads can't be made against a specific member and with logical reasoning.
Though if one replies to your thread and you don't particularly like that individual, i see no reason why you can't "flame the hell out of them" on you'r own thread, or other threads not related. If I wanted to go around posting "Deathsnova is a fucking retard" nobody would say anything, because while it's true, he can handle it. All of the sudden it's an issue when another individual doesn't have the balls to take an insult? Nobody gets flamed for no reason. The SF is notorious for its general vibe, but that's just everyone being slight trolls and assholes to each other. Personally I believe that one should embrace negativity aimed towards them. If someone is insulting you, it's most likely true. People don't really just make shit up towards users they don't know anything about.

I suppose I'm rambling. Long story short, I believe unless a user is being pointed out in a thread specifically meant to "hate on them," there shouldn't be an issue.

 

I think Moh needs to stop locking threads.

 

Although I do think that repeated attacks against a user in the spam forum should be acted upon if the victim wishes. Bullying may be defined as the activity of repeated, aggressive behavior intended to hurt another person, physically or mentally (from wikipedia). Until it is repeated, because it is the spam forum and due to the nature of the spam forum it can be viewed as a piss take and that action should not be taken.
