Thinking about building a staker.

Hey guys.
What staker build are doing well atm?

I was thinking something like:
Bot fight caves for 50-60-40
Bot Pc for 70 hp

OR

Get 40 range
Bot range guild for ~70 range
bot PC for ~80 hp

Any ideas?

 

I would recommend building a dds staker. 1 prayer, 1 defence, 60 attack and 80+ strength. You can also become a mage boxer with 1 defence, 11 prayer (you need for DT), 92 magic and 80+ hp. Hope this helps.

 

50-60-40-70 stats are terrible
The cb level will be too low and you'll have a low amount of good stakes.
The acc could definitely not dds stake, therefore, it should box.
Those stats are still bad for boxing, the importance of stats for boxing are in this order: Hp- def- Att- Str

 

Making a boxer is always the easiest since no quest are required, and fight caves can go on to 12 hours without crashing

 

Contemplating coming back to the game for strictly staking. Havent played since around 2007 so I dont think the learning curve will be too extreme!

 

Boxer acc 90/70/90 with 90 hp wrecks

range boxer hard to make without soul wars I had an acc with 60range 99hp (then got 78 for morrigans) But in 07 Scape a range tank 50range/40def is 44combat and with pl8 on wrecks pures

dds staker- don't like don't have as high as winning percentages as other stakers mentioned. I've staked on all of the types I've suggested along with mage boxer's 99mage/90hp 1def, 11pray, maxed 126 CB acc's and rapier/whip stakers with 1 pray. The key is one pray and HP. If you get any defense levels you should stake arm on or don't stake at all period

 

That is the stupidest thing I've ever read. My initiate pure is 20 defense 16 prayer (from quests) and I constantly verse 1 defense pures my own level, around the same strength and hp levels because they have leveled prayer. Your opinion is blatantly wrong on this matter.

Unless of course, you're only versing people who have built their accounts to be 100% stakers and not just the occasional pures etc looking to make some money. (but why would you do that, as their accounts are the ones that you lose the most money off of)

 

No, defence in boxing is one of the most important stats. Also, in 07 rs where all accounts are unfinished, defence on dds stakes is ok.

 

I'm a 45 Defence account with 60 Attack - I fight a LOT of people and am on a 35M+ bank at the moment.

Defence back in 07 is greatly OP even without armour.
