The bonuses of rune boots?

I've been looking around and can't find an item db for 2007 items and their stats. If anyone knows of one could you share it please?

I'm specifically looking at rune boots vs climbers. Do their defense bonuses justify the 600k price tag?

 

They only give defence bonus and otherwise than that they're not much different than climbers, tbh 600k is alot of money on 07 for a pair of boots. I'd just go with climbing boots

 

Do you know exactly what the extra defense bonuses you get from rune boots are?

 

I think its around +20 for defence stats, no str bonus or attack bonuses

They're not worth it at all, they're just so expensive right now because barely anyone has 80 slayer. But more and more people are going to get slayer up for the massive profit it is currently making at higher levels, so just give it time before they're like 50k.

 

Yeah, I probably won't end up buying. I was just curious as to what the bonus really was. At least I know of two good databases for rs2007 items now

 

When it comes to money, climbing boots are the best. Rune boots and climbing boots have similar stats, but you need to do death plateau for the climbing boots

 

I'm a fully quested zerker so it really comes down to cost.. Seeing as rune boots are so expensive and likely to go down to ~50k I decided to stick to climbers for now

 

There's no way they are going to go down to 50k, at least for this year.

 

Yeah your probably right, either way I just don't think I can justify that price

 

The only way I can semi agree with that is because people that get 80 shoot straight towards 85 to get whips.

However, seeing as whips are dramatically dropping in price (due to all of the people that have already gotten 85+ Slayer solely for the monetary gain), I think you'll find a swift drop in a lot of the items sooner rather than later.

 

What are your thoughts on dark bows? Do you think they'll eventually drop below a whip or always stay a bit above it?

 

Yes, rune boots price and all other slayer items will stay proportional for a long long time, if rune boots drop to 50K then either whips will be at 100K or for some reason NO ONE would want them. Even if they get to a low price while whips are so much higher they will definitely rise again, seeing as no one would camp for them and there would still be a huge demand.
50K per rune boots is so EOC-minded...

 

So your saying rune boots are going to stay around 600k? That seems way to high.. I'd think that they'd balance out around 250k
