Smite with ADC

Needless I say more, that game was great...

 

Why would you even... Bronze 5 playz.

 

Double golems, early head start. Although a high kill score on an ADC just means you had a good support in my opinion.

 

Ment to put this in the OP but only reason I had smite was because I forgot to change my runes/masteries/summoner spells from the previous .

And @kerokerocola No, my support was actually pretty stupid that game. Gave out 2 kills to the enemy graves within 5 minutes.

Was pretty sure we lost that game when graves was 8-1 at one point, but I managed to get a few kills and snowballed off that.

 

You did golems 10 seconds earlier than you would have, congrats.

You're never, never going to use Smite in lane. If you smite the big minion you're only making it easier for your enemy because your lane is now pushed. It does help with golems at the start but that's only on one side of the map. You jungler is going to have smite so there's no need for an adc to use it to secure dragon/baron. All in all it ends up being pretty useless...

but who cares do what's fun

 

It can also help double-last hit if two minions end up low HP at once.

 

Like I said earlier, this was a big mistake as I forgot to change my summoner spells/ runes/masteries.

This was just showing that you don't need the standard spells to do well.

 

Yeah the meta is over-rated, really. It only improves your chance of a win by a small amount. I accidentally played ADC with my support runes still on, and I went to get a penta in the game.

 

runes and masteries are only for begining game really. They do help late game but not noticably unless you have all scaling runes. I chose the wrong runes in normals all the time by accident and it's never gg because of it

 

Lol I meant runes and masteries, but yeah. It was funny to see me start with a temp ward and cookie.

 

Honestly if you really needed to get some extra creep kills/gold you might as well play ashe and max hawkshot until level 6 at a minimum, it will give you +10 gold per creep kill and at a low end of 200 minion kills thats 2k extra gold.

Its a much better strategy that works even at more competitive play rather than taking smite as an adc.

 

I accidentally had smite as Taric support before I will try to find pic but I went 0/1/21 and actual did ks a few Blue's the game with smite.


Smiting the big minion while you are pushing a turret and having your adc last hit it is pretty helpful but honestly its just not worth giving up exhaust or flash for. I am only Plat lvl player though not like a Diamond 1.

Barrier ignite and exhaust are all better imo.
