scam report vs yarroow

posting here as i din't want to register a account to post in the rasc section, my ban will be lifted in april, which i will repost this report then if needed.


N4n0 handled the previous report i can't find the archived version via googlesearch, i'm sre someone can.

Basicly i bought the account off him for i believe 150m, he did tell me the account was previously owned by a friend of him, and that he trusted him. so i bought it, started playing on it leveled it, added money on it etc, a few months went by, i think about 4 or 5, and the orginal owner i assume recovered it, i was unable to recover it myself, so yarroow recovered it for me.

He gave me the account back and it was completly wiped of the items that you see in the above photos, but it did still have the dung tokens.

I logged off and said nothing of it and just left it, and din't change the password on it, infact i don't even remb what the password was on it.

I was planning on selling the account as you could see from the above thread, but if its able to be recovered by the orignal owner and wiped like it was with me, i din't/don't feel safe reselling it and ruining my rep.


I would like to be refund the 150m i pad PLUS the value of the lost items at the price of rsgp at the time.

if no refund for the price i paid i would like to be refunded for the full value of the items i lost for the price back then, i believe gp was going for around .55/m then on the low end side.


i din't want to file a report back then because i think yarroow is agood guy, but after debating on it, better to my money, then to be out of it.

i don't have the chat logs of anymore, but i'm sure n4n0 does.

On a side note: I find it a real low blow to make a report on me almost a year later when initially you never asked for, or even implied that you would like a refund for the items that are supposedly missing.
It's a real shame that instead of even trying to contact me, you immediately made a report. I'm sure we could have settled this as gentlemen.

I don't think we should force Yaroow to refund you for the account now, as you seem to have been perfectly fine with just getting the account back in your possession a year ago. If its been recovered again, that's a whole different story.

As for the items, you are entitled to reimbursement for the items if you have proof that they were infact on the account when it was recovered.

 

Cleaning up a bit so let's leave it at that. I believe it's being discussed further with staff so if you want to inquire further please ask corey.

 

Sypherz, please don't lock/archive threads which are currently being discussed in the SL, especially when its with a banned user. This is our only way to keep them informed.

Yaroow, I believe you know more about this than I, so I'm asking that you try your best to resolve this based on what has been discussed in the SL thread.

Delta, please provide proof that the items were on the account during the supposed recovery and I will refund those.
A picture posted two months before the supposed recovery will not do I am afraid. (Unless other staff members disagree with me.)

As for the refund for the account itself, I feel it has been too long to ask for one as the account has been safely in your hands all this time.

 

First of all, the proof is in the photos when i was trying to sell the account, how do you propose i have pictures during the "supposed" recovery? i mean is there a magical way to get a teamveiwer
etc on who ever recovered it? And by whoever i mean the orginal owner "your friend" or you. As i was not infected, at the time i was doing questing orders for people, and still
activly trading, so reports should/would have come up agianst me had i been, i mean who would just hack one account?

Will not do? Will not do for who? you? if this was anyone else " I.E. Non-mod" they would have been ethier banned or slapped with a TWC until the report was resovled, now

i came to you about the account being hacked, you said you'd look into it, within a day or two you already had the account back and logged on, and said
the ip was something like blahblahvirginiablahblah if im not mistaken, i do not recall if you took a screenshot of it or not. and pretty much said okay heres the password enjoy
and left it at that, i logged on told you it was wiped, etc, i don't think you said much about it, i left it alone, as i was teo put it blunt, pissed off.

refund for the account, 150m value at 50/m
refund for the account+Items the total i wrote up is around here somewhere it can be debated.
Your Temporary suspension from staff.
Your banning temp or perm does not matter.
or a TWC be applied.

This report will prob be swept under the rug, as you are a moderator, and have been doing a good job from sometime, and my recent status on sythe has been pegged as a troll
/flamer/greifer although i have done good for the site, i want it looked at without bias.\

If it's deemed by the other mods that you shouldn't be charged with anything then that's fine with me. but we both know the true story behind what happen,but we'll leave it at
that. i will be back on 4/10/13 unless sythe decided to do otherwise with me.

Delta, you are no better than anyone else, you bring us proof and your report will get somewhere. So far all I have is word of mouth that your account got recovered with x amount of gold on it, we cannot make him pay you for that. Nobody has ever had to, and he won't be the first.

Furthermore, I will not order him to give you a refund for the account, as it has been far too long for you to claim you feel the account is insecure. If you wanted a refund, it should have been brought up when the account got recovered, but now it just seems you may be just trying to get your money back as you no longer play Runescape.

Please don't play the "hes a mod so this wont be dealt with fairly" card, when we have already had this report up here with insufficient proof for 50x longer than any other report with insufficient proof. If you can prove your claims, you WILL be reimbursed for your losses, and if you can prove the account is still insecure (recovered again), you will be reimbursed for that also.

to check the account, as i periodicly do for all my accounts that i'm selling.


Now i'm not sure what else proof i can provide that the account had the items still on it? why would i take more photos
to update the thread with if it was still the same, As you see in my thread i was trying to sell the items with the account
So what logic would it be to try and sell the items with the account if the items weren't on the account?

The account Hasn't been in my possesion this whole time, as i never got back on it after yaroow gave me the new password.
Now let's test something here, let's have him dig up the chat logs and give a mod the password he gave me and lets see if it
still works, and lets see when the last login was. if it is anything not mine we'll know its been recovered again.

Isn't rather strange that he was able to get in contact with the owner and have him recover it so fast?
Clearly the owner or He, knew it was coming.


So what more evidence would you like? a Video recording of someone recovering it? with a license ID, and a a mailing address?
As if that is whats needed, then sadly i can't give you that.

Delta, would you for once just contact me? I am very sick of everything having to go through other people and even posted publicly before I even get to hear a single word about it.

What really bothers me, is that you say you didn't want to deal with it back then. Even though I asked you if there was anything I could do for you, I DID want to deal with this as it was, and still is, a big deal to me.

Now you decide you do want to deal with it, say you do not care about the money but won't rest until you have seen some, or at least until I have received a TwC and you have successfully slandered my name with accusations you did not even want to deal with when they were relevant.

All of this is nothing but a stab in the back from someone I considered a mate, someone I tried to help but also someone who "did not want to deal with it at the time". Well here I am, trying to deal with it, trying to sort it out all out and you have the audacity to refuse to talk to me, to have other people leave messages in a public thread without so much as a "how do you do".

As I stated before, we could have handled this like gentlemen, if you were to simply contact me before going all out on a report, I'm sure this situation would have been handled in a couple of days, tops, without it being turned into so much that this is not. Instead you chose to cause a big scene and try to, what I can not see as anything but, attack me personally.
