Staff deleting threads in spam forum.

Fact is I'm not butthurt. It was my opinion. There's a massive difference. I wasn't going to post on this topic again, because I had already laid down my views, but I have to respond to you. As I said, its childish to get insulted on a spam forum...if you don't like it, why go back and look at it? Ignore. And again, if u get insulted by some random guy calling you a random insult, repeatedly or otherwise, log out, is on the top right corner. Be my guest.

 

Holy shit, spam forum shouldn't be such a big deal.

This is why powerbot's spam forum> sythe's.

Argue and make up excuses all you want but the spam forum on here has gone to shit. It brings up so many problems with all of these newfag buthurt mods(and a few select individuals) that Sythe should just remove the entire section.

 

Since apparently, the word "faggot" is an infractionable offense in the Spam Forum now, why don't we either

1) Make a sticky outlaw/banning the use of it or

2) Censor the highly controversial and damning word?

Since neither of those are ever going to happen, then why should 1 person get punished for it, while another person can get away using the word without any repercussions?

It's not the case of simply calling someone a faggot.
It's constantly calling someone/people a faggot, or targeting one person constantly.

 

It's not people being called a single word, or "faggot", it's when it's continual and the user involved feels harassed.

You dont like the way the staff handle the issue, either leave the forum or make a thread in suggestions and kindly state your opinion, all this did was turn into a flame fest from people being pissed at mods for no reason. Not your site, you are not a mod, they can do what they please on the site, Ive never had an issue with a mod. I think they are dealing with it properly, rules work better when you actually apply them on a individual basis. We are not in elementary school, its not one for all.

Read the spam forum rules.
Making a thread to deliberately flame someone and you'll be infracted.

Also, I've told you to stop pushing it in a PM. I'll let that one off, as you're clearly seein how far you can push. Not all mods are as lenient as myself as the way you're going I can see you being banned very soon.

 

I don't let the fact that I'm staff affect the way I do shit. People have a right to express their opinions and tell us when we're wrong.

 

I have a Final Solution to this.

Delete the Spam forum.

Clearly it serves no purpose.

 

If it served no purpose, then I and more than half the people on on this site would not be here and be active on a daily basis. One of the first things I (and many others) do when I log-in, is check the spam forum. Also, I have never even seen you in the spam forum, so how can you say that it serves no purpose lol? Finally, the next time you make an ignorant comment like this, at least try to back up your ridiculous opinion and not just spam.

 

Clearly he's not new here seems he's been here a long time by his join date, I have no problem with the spam forum no will I ever, I come to this site because it gives me something to do to pass the time I also willingly joke in the spam forum, but will I get "butthurt" no simply because its the spam forum, that being said the rules are rules, and if someone feels like their being harnessed, and that other person doesn't stop then, they should have the right to ask a mod for help that's what mods are here for

Lol, like 1/4 of the users only really use the spam forum. Getting rid of it would loose a few users.

 

The spam forum exists because it brings traffic + users to the site. That's the only reason its there.

 

The spam forum is the reason so many users have stayed loyal to this site.

 

I still think that their is a limit. You claim it is suppose to attract users you think people seeing other users ran into the ground attracts them? Why would that make them want to join the site?

 

I don't think the spam forum is the reason sythe attracts users. I doubt the sf attracted a single user to this site. People join without knowing it exists for months. So your point isn't really a point. It keeps users though.
