    The effect would be more appealing if, instead of a black background, you made it transparent.

    As for the image, it's hard to tell what you did besides using the marquee tool to split it up and space it out a bit. Can you post the stock image you used, or did you draw the characters from scratch on your own?

    I agree that it would have looked better with a transparent background. I like it a lot though!
