1.3 Why you shouldn't buy an account

That part basically make's your entire guide pointless. Why teach people how to sell an account, but then advise everyone not to buy any accounts?

 

Because, not everyone is going to listen to me? Have you ever been to a shop, seen something you absolutely love, and not take into account what anyone else says about buying that thing? This is a similar scenario, so teaching them the safest possible method of purchasing an account does somewhat help.

I believe a lot of legitimate users use player auctions, but even so, you can never be safe when purchasing an account even using Player Auctions!

 

A good guide but I wouldn't tell people not to purchase any accounts from anyone. I've sold a few accounts here on sythe, 450 euros being the highest and never recovered any. What I'm trying to say is there are quite some people around here you can trust.

 

That's true, I do realise there are some highly reputable members that wouldn't recover back an account, but you never know really.

yea I already know that. it is much better to buy Gold than to buy account. :noworry: but the risk of buying of account can be lessen when using a great method in trading.

You've contradicted yourself here. Your statements are like saying a volcano will erupt, eventually.

Everyone knows the risks of buying an account, the whole "The original owner can recover". But by posting something like this, it seems you were butt hurt enough to discredit every seller on Sythe that they will scam if given the chance.

I have owned an account from someone I purchased it off here before, Tmoe. Before he was a staff. It had 2B at one point when gold was floating around 0.4-0.5. He knew about it, but he never took action of recovering it. If he would have recovered, may as well recover when the account has $1k in gold, not when you take the risk of it being empty. Not to mention I never went through with a recovery test, nor was I given any detail, for my safety.

Sin666, Ex admin and Global at the time. I bought an account off her. It's held billions of gold several times, I was a staker. I had vouches of buying billions (She could've seen). At one point had 7.5B on it. Once again, I chose to delete the information of the account (I told her), I figured I couldn't recover it if I wanted to, so I trusted she would if I ever needed. Never recovered.

I know someone that keeps several billions, I'd put it at ~10B, on an account. I know the original owner here on Sythe. Not a doubt he would recover. My feedback is obviously negative for discrediting everyone on Sythe because you got scammed once, for $200. And worst of all you made all of this because you were foolish enough to trust $200 with someone who has absolutely no rep here on Sythe and has nothing to lose. If you want to make a decent guide, start off by saying do not buy off anyone that has nothing to lose. Because that was your mistake and you haven't seen that. An example is Tmoe has been trusted with 10's of billions, when gold was way higher than 0.3/M. And yes, I mean he was trusted with more than just a full party hat set. 2B is nothing, he has more to lose than to gain. My advice is buy from people who has more to lose than to gain. Tmoe and Sin could have just used a different IP, proxy or when out of town, and taken everything, claim I was hacked/phished or something.

Don't take this as some sort of attack, but actual and proper feedback.

 

Apith, I respect and acknowledge your opinion! Thanks for the time your takn to post this.. I do realise, when I made the guide I was in a form of rage, and I do now realise that there are people on this website you can trust, there are some very reputable members who wouldn't go to such extent to recover the Account back.

I know, my actions alone, were stupid when it came to trusting someone with no trust within the community with such a high value of money. This was a mistake I made myself and really the point of te guide is to prevent anyone going through the same scenario as I.

But on another note; you've got to understand, there have been a lot of trusted members within sythe that have scammed. I guess it's really up to the buyer of said account to determine how well they trust the person.

 

A few factors to consider is how much effort the user has put into the site, how well you know them (if you've been friends or talked previously). And how much they can make on a site like this with minimum effort. Such as someone like major sellers can make thousands of dollars a month, after paying their workers. No doubt in my mind someone like them, as long as they're the original owner, would ever recover.

 

That is a very valuable factor to consider, I mean, if someone is actually making a living off of the market here at sythe, they have a lot to lose if they were to ever scam. I appreciate your feedback and will edit this guide when I gain access to a computer.
