Yeah thought the finale was extremely anti-climactic. There was all this build-up for a 2 minute fight scene. Then again i think the only way the writers could preserve the group's innocence was by having the governor take out his citizens. But pretty much nothing exciting happened and it didnt leave you with a cliffhanger for season 4 :/

 

I feel the show's lost its touch. Getting kind of bored of it tbh...

 

Since most people probably have watched it by now I will vent.

The whole season built up a "war" that didn't even happen. The governor ended up killing his own men wtf? And it didn't even show what happened to the governor?

 

Not the finale I was expecting, but I liked it. The governer slowly went insane over the course of the last 5 or so episodes, and now it came to a point where he just went apeshit and killed his people.

Still don't understand how Andrea even got bit, though. Sure, she was weak from the beatings and torture, but come on.

 

Fucking shit episode! Fuck that shit, I mean it was fucking boring, I even skipped around 10 minutes of it because I was so fucking bored. Bullshit, get your fucking act together AMC, glad the show runner is fired, this episode was fucking shit.

 

The finale wasn't what I expected it to be, and how it ended was rather lame.

The prison storming scene was blatantly obvious it was a trap, given all the doors were left unlocked.

The ending sucked. I was thinking either Rick & Co would take Woodbury for their own, and create their own new stronghold given the state of the prison, and despite his previous attitudes towards outside folk he decides to take in the Elderly & Children? Wut.

 

Why the hell is the governer still alive? Very anti-climatic ending to season 3, but meh i hope the next season is better. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL OCTOBER.

 

This show peaked during its first season, the finale of Season 3 was utter garbage. I'm glad that at least Andrea died though, she was so damn annoying. I hope Carl dies next season too.

 

lmfao same here, they tried to make it sad that Andrea died, but I was happy as hell, never liked her, and Carl is a little shit and I don't like him either, I wish he would have died from the bullet in the last season. It's bullshit, Merle was awesome and he dies, but Carl gets to live, screw that -.-

 

Exactly. Merle was fucking awesome to watch, his personality and the way that he redeemed himself during the finale was some great script writing. I wish they'd brought him back sooner and had developed him in a similar way to Daryl (turning him into a good guy so to speak).

 

You guys should read the comics, if you want to get ahead lol.

i do not want to spoil anything but WTF!!!!!!!!!!! it was fucking horrible no cliff hanger NOTHING, it was fucking dirt shit, there was fighting and cool moments bgut just a fucking let down... e xcept what happened to andrea , my fav part =D

 

Just watched the last episode of the season - wasn't anything I expected. Pretty bad ending tbh.

 

Why all the hate? It wasn't perfect but it did set up next season quite nicely.

 

Disagree. It's repetitive and predictable now. There should have been a actual proper face off between both groups, with one prevailing. There needs to be more focus on the actual walkers and road to salvation, opposed to gimmicky villains as the main plot focus.

 

Yea. I disliked this season quite a bit since the whole tension between the two groups was shit. But there is still a villain and there is a shit ton of new people in the group so they have plenty of people to kill off and they will need to get food for all of them and it will be much more annoying to live. And if they have to move on from the prison it could get even better. There are options and lots of new people to kill off.

 

The Governor is just not a good villain..Shane was a better villain. I think that largely stems from the fact that, in my opinion, the actor for The Governor is garbage.
