Real or Fake? (Yugioh cards)

So after ordering some cards off the net, a thought came across that they might be fake. I know a sign of a fake card is the seal and after looking on Amazon and toywiz, along with other trusted sites according to many across the net, almost all have a seal that is not silver or gold on the card displayed on the page. I particularly care of blue eyes white dragon the most of all cards I've ordered.

Is this card a fake? Have any of you ordered a card that appeared to have a fake seal but the card turned out to be real?

 

don't buy online .... lol if you are so curious to if people sell fake cards use craigslist or kijiji and meet people locally to do trades with them that way you would be able to actually meet them and see the cards for yourself.

 

I'd agree with Schoolboy. You can't really tell unless you see the cards for yourself.

In the past when i use to collect yu gi oh cards i came throught a few misprints on a card when opening a new pack, but it is best to ask the seller if his products are genuine. when received, and they appear to look fake, contact the seller and sue his asssss. ;p

 

It's real.

From what I can tell from that picture. I've played in a few regional tournaments and about 100 Locals. From what I can tell, by that picture and the markings (The corner sticker, the pack\card marking, and the physicality of the card) it seems to be real.

I don't know too many people that would fake a Blue Eyes, they're not really used in tournament play. There's MUCH more valuable cards to fake than a Blue Eyes these days lol. Plus I believe that's the blue eyes from a Tin or a Starter Deck.

I know blue eyes isn't worth much anymore, but it's very sentimental to me. Tbh I'd rather have blue eyes in my deck, than say a god card. I only know cards from the original series. So it's difficult for me to collect cards from spin offs.

 

I gotcha man, we all have\had those cards. Wasn't meant to be insulting, more reassuring that no one as of now would bother faking a blue eyes due to it's monetary value. Sentimental value is obviously something different haha.

 

Hey man, no offense taken haha. But i've seen fakes of cards that are worth as much as a piece of grass so I want to be careful especially with old cards.

Maybe I should catch up on the 7 years or so of yugioh so I can start buying booster packs from local shops like Target again.

 

Looks real man, I remember that specific Blue Eyes too, so the graphic is definitely legit and from the looks of it , it looks genuine.

Exactly, lol. That picture could even be the model they used to print it.
As said, you can be certain that the seller is not trying to rip you off. If the card is a fake the owner must be selling it in good faith, really, no one would fake that card nowadays.

When buying a card, ask for 2 photos of the card taken from 2 different angles, then check if the seal has changed.

 

I highly doubt Amazon would harbor a fraudulent seller. Even if they don't do in-depth background checks, they still have seller feedback which he would be wise to look at. I'm just saying from the best vantage point I can see that it looks to be genuine. Also, if it's for nostalgic value, I fail to see why it even matters in the first place. No need to be a smartass...that's what the spam forum is for.

I'd say that's a pretty safe bet it's real ^^^ so you don't need the card "infront of u" to get a good guess going..which is exactly what OP is asking for.

 

Get a scan image of the actual card and I can tell you.

 

I received blue eyes as well as a few other cards. Proper seal, no awkward feel to the card, graphics legit, ID number matches up, trademarks legit. Card Rush and Hotsause-games I would recommend for future buyers.

 

Glad to hear it man, yeah I figured after it's copious amount of positive reviews that seller garnered, there was no way in hell he'd be solving fake cards. Because eventually someone would have caught on and notified Amazon. Grats though man.

 

Thanks my only regret is I spent 8 bucks on a blue eyes white dragon booster pack that was filled with crappy cards. There's still my Mystic Elf to come which I brought from a different seller...but I only spent .70 cents total on it so I'm chill if its a fake.

 

Looks real to me, you can tell if its fake just by appearance.

 

I need help again guys. I really think this ones fake but i'm not sure.
