What are your thoughts on a Rank or a mini rank?

 

It's been discussed in the CDT section, and CDT and OGV ranks shouldn't be given as it's a privilege to be in either section, not a reward.

 

it is a rank though, being a mod is a privilege as well but there is still a rank there.

 

Moderators serve a purpose to the community, the CDT just helps out and tries to sort out things that could benefit the community, we aren't vital. Until it's agreed that it's deserved in the CDT section then I highly doubt it would even be considered outside of the area.

 

The reasoning is that people just want a rank, and it's not necessary.
Personally I'd like to see one, if we were more easily identidiable we might get more ideas given to us and people might actually know who to go to.

Edit: yes a mini-rank is what I'd like to see.

 

so a mini rank would be ore suitable.

 

I'd like to see one as well, would make everybody's life easier. Right now there is a sticky in community general but not everyone knows about that one or people just wouldn't bother going to that thread everytime to find CDT members if they need them.

 

Both denied by the staff and the cdt team already.
