    The reason it's currently down is because they are changing servers because CloudFlare is a piece of crap. Half the time there werent actually DDoS attacks but CloudFlare messing up. The other half of the time when there were DDoS attacks Cloudflare would block communications from the bot clients....

    I played from 03-05. The bot scene was basically non-existent. Mostly auto clickers and macro programs (record your specific mouse actions and replay them...really useful for Alching, Fletching, etc..) As a player, that was great. I've always been someone to mine/woodcut/fish/etc rather than combat/pk, so if I were truly playing today, I'd be pissed off.

    I'm only on RS for the bot scene now. With RS3 it's probably going to die anyways, at least for a certain period of time, so might as well take advantage of it now.

    Agree about taking advantage right now, never taken skilling/skillers seriously tbh I mean what do they need more money for? New axe heads? :L

    I'm getting the skills I'll need to Pk self sufficiently when everyone bails on RS07 in a years time or w/e and you can't get resources anymore... Fish and cook down, that's fletching, herb and maybe crafting left! Hardly an impact on the economy anyway...

    Yes niini they are switching servers because the client is blocked when CloudFlare is in "Attack Mode" to fight off DDoS

    yohojo I think he meant to ask how long it takes to migrate the data to a new server

    It *could* take as little as a couple hours. I doubt it though

    This is pissing me off lol, why does it say I need to be VIP to open old school client when I am VIP? This happens when other people say client is online so yeah... Happened yesterday as well when it was online.. wtf..
