We should really change the current OGV team, I've been trying to get my guide verified for OVER A MONTH now and none of them replied, they're either really inactive or just unexperienced. We should change the current team and open an OGV application.

 

I'd also support giving them a rank of some sort, we have no clue who actually IS an OGV...

 

Theres a list, but still, the OGV team is very lacking with being active. I pmed every single one of them and none of them atleast told me wether my guide is eligible for verification. There should be a renewal of the OGV members and a re open of the OGV application.

 

We I believe are thinking about new members.

 

Would be awesome if the applications were to open again. I've tried getting mine verified for a long time, I've even PMed the entire team personally and some of them said they're inactive and should verify it within a week, but it's been a month.

 

Well lets see if we can get something done with the OGV team.

 

OGV gets updated all the time, as the team always seems to get slack after a while, which was the same issue with the CDT, which applications have just been done.

 

Rank was given then taken away because people complained some used it as threads tags to show more rep/trust the same way mods do.

As for the guide,can you resend the guide to compare to a guide I believe was yours but left unlabeled of name.

I have belief that the person you sent the guide to either didn't put it up for verification or I didn't include your name when we made the decision.

I checked my PMs and Im quite sure you messaged it to someone else. I do apologize for the mix up.

As for inactivity, I try coming on as often as possible, I have been denying and reporting the surge of guides that people are reselling as their own. We have verified one guide so far.

I work, have school, and a family so as for my activity I say I am doing whats possible.

Other members seems to be busy too. I can't talk for them but were human.


As for starting OGV applications, the main problem that seems to come of this is new OGV being active for a bit then leaving. I realized those were just trying to get free access to guides.

Although your complaint is based on either a bit of a mixed up or a mistake on a OGV member, please list what issues are at hand.

I want to make the ebook section only legitimate sales, the issue I see is members coming here to make quick profits of old/free/other's guides.

I suggest making a sub-forum that labels guides that dont want any form of verification as RISKS EBOOKS then another for guides that actually want verification.

 

I did prompt Sypherz to do it since I was doing the CDT but he seems to have lost motivation about it (he is the leader of OGV)

 

We said new OGV memebers isn't the best decision right now.

Lets cut down on the OGV members first then we can look for candidates. I don't approve of applicants as for their ulterior motives.

 

Well the issue is that I submitted a guide for verification about a month ago and it seems like it hadn't been put attention to. If you apply for a OGV position you have to take responsibility by atleast being remotely active (I'm not saying you're not). Also - I've sent you this pm a long time ago about the same guide, look at the date -

Yeah, it should be really changed if they seem to be inactive, I dont know if theyre doing it for free guides or whatnot, but it should be handled.

Its best that the inactive members get kicked out of the current OGV, and the active ones to stay. The empty positions can be switched by new members by an application.



Also sent this to every ogv member out there - it includes the guide so I edited it out, but just look at the time when I sent it in.

 

Well yeah, cut out the ones that are inactive/don't contribute and then look for some new candidates. Don't commit to a specific number that you will recruit and from the applicants just pick the ones you are truly happy with, regardless how how many it is.

I will bring up some things and talk to sypherz to avoid things like this. Hopefully we can get some sort of schedule to cover everything.

 

I've been in the OGV for a year and unfortunately I just don't have the time to lead the team anymore. I really wish I could pass leadership off to someone like gtdarkpunisher and *give him moving privledges within the OGV*

Alright. I see our team is way too inactive and we need the knowledge of many to ensure verification is made correctly.

I made a mistake and I will take responsibility.

I will try getting the OGV team to get more active and organized.

I have a few ideas yet to share first I need to see which members are actually on and which arent.

 

If you could help figure out the OGV issues and see who we can replace or at least take care of adding some people.

Also I think you should change this thread name to "Issues with the OGV?" so other members can share their thoughts maybe? Or should I make a thread?

We also need to make clear that copyright infringements/stealing/copying guides/methods/etc will not be tolerated.
